After owning a sharp Aquos Quattron 70 inch that failed I researched for weeks and weeks and weeks and tried out several TVs at home both 4K and 1080 P From $5k to $2k. In my opinion this is the best picture available in any size particularly the 65 to 75 inch range with or even without HDR technology The color is vivid the sharpness pops and the motion is very smooth, wide viewing angle unlike the new Sony 4K 65 inch. In my opinion the 4K picture of which very very little content is available looks washed out in the current models in any brand unless you look at OLED, which most of us cannot afford, or you sacrifice size which is something I don't want to do. Perhaps in 2-3 years when cable is (prevalently) providing 4K without the ridiculous up charges...perhaps then I'll make the switch. Bottom line is that if you are happy with 1080p (blu Ray quality) you'll be disappointed in 4K. There is only a certain clarity point that is noticeable to the daily viewer (remember 99% of the content you'll be watching for the next 1-2 years will still be 1080 (yeah yeah, unless you upgrade EVERY service and cable box, game consol, fire TV, blu Ray player...) I will wait. In any case considering that 99% of the content you are going to watch is 1080i or 1080p this is the best television in the 65 to 75 inch range in my opinion and I strongly stand in behind my opinion. I am SUPER picky about my displays.

After looking at the 4 K TV's I didnt see a big enough difference to justify the extra money. I got a great price delivered, installed and with a 5 year warranty. 5 STARS BEST BUY !! I am an Elite Plus Member

Fantastic TV! Was looking at this 75" from Sony and Samsung. Sony is on spot with color reproduction. Slight Clouding on blacks. Android is a big plus. Great TV for the price (just below 2000). Good color, only one bad LED (my Sharp had 3!). Sound is ok from the TV, but we use a SONY amp as well. The "on" light is a bit dim in daylight, however.

Great picture, Android TV is nice. Setup was simple and Bravia Sync works very well.

Outstanding picture, color and clarity! All HD content looks great and even upscaled DVD's look terrific! Don't bother spending more money for 4K. This Sony 75" TV is simply amazing!

From 10 feet or more away and less than 30 degrees off center of view it has a great picture except for darker corners being visible if it wasn't for the dark corners I'd have given it 5 stars

Very happy with this purchase! Sparkling picture, many great features, this is a great TV. I do wish that some 3D glasses would have came with the set, but that does not take away from my happiness with this set.

I am giving this only 1 star for this TV. I have no issues with video quality or audio quality. But Sony has messed up big time with basic functionality. They have released a firmware upgrade with zero testing. The latest software version PKG2.473.0010NAA (Released September 2015) that gets automatically downloaded affects the power-on function. This means you will not be able to turn on the TV with a normal remote control press once it is turned off. You will NOT be able to power-on the TV directly from the TV button as well. You have to reboot the TV entirely to turn it on. You have to do this by either pressing the remote button for nearly 20 seconds or pull the plug from the wall or re-connecting after 2 minutes. Initially I thought it was an HW issue and returned and got another TV exchanged only to see the SW screwing up the functionality. Since I work for a similar industry I know this is a very major software quality issue. But the worst part is that Sony does not have an immediate fix to this issue. You cannot even revert back to older version PKG2.463.0017NAA, which does not have this issue. You have to wait indefinitely for them make the next SW release. They are not able provide a time when a fix would be available. So if you want to buy this TV make sure you turn off automatic download feature in order prevent installing buggy software.

I recently bought this 75"tv Got it for 1599 and think its a great deal. but i cant get picture right on it. It seems dull. I took back a Vizio 70 m70-c3 inch for this tv . I like that one but it was not a true smart tv. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated... I will update rating if i can get the right calibration setting

First let me say I am totally satisfied with Best Buy. Fantastic customer service. You are actually able to speak to a live person quickly! There is however a major software issue. DO NOT down load the update. I spent two hours on the phone with a Sony tech who knew nothing about this problem. I had to find out through online research from others who have this same problem. Once the software issue is fixed I would recommend this TV.

I love this TV. The size is perfect to give a really big screen experience. The user interfaces, for the apps that are available, are good. My two negatives are that there is no web browser. And there is no 2-D to 3-D option as there was on my Samsung 3-D television.

I was torn between this and the Samsung. For a thousand dollars less this was a great choice. Very happy with picture and smart functions. Great for fast action.

Received the product on Friday, and Saturday afternoon I get a green line in the screen. I call the Geek Squad 1-800 number, after being on hold for a very long time. I am told they have none of these available in my area. So I will have to call back by the end of January, because they do not reserve a tv that is not physically in the store ( for warranty calls). So for $2,100.00 I have wasted a lost of my money, and received very bad customer service.

Great picture, installed the tilting wall mount and love it.

Decided to go with 1080 over 4K after lengthy review. Glad I did. This TV will work great until the 4K content becomes more available.

Absolute junk tv. Started having red blinking light error which will not let the tv power up. Turns out to be a very common problem with Sony 75" TVs. I am not sure if Best Buy is selling a lower quality Sony or this is what Sony has turned into.
