The picture is grainy and just bad when in any other source other than 4K. Even Blu Ray looked unclear and washed out. Forget sports! The field was all splotchy and off. Not sure if the new X1 processor was the culprit, but walk away from this TV. Issues with the operating system too. Last years model is so much better when watching side by side. No comparison. We decided to trade this out and while waiting for the new TV (Samsung JS9500), to be delivered, the Sony even turned off on its own and gave us a blinking red light for no reason. Confirmed we made the right choice to switch. The new Samsung destroys it and is worth the extra money and drop down in size.

Bought new 3d glasses and new DVD player to get home and find out it is not passive 3d. My previous active 3d tv was a Samsung and was better then this one.
