    Excellent TV!

Having done a fair amount of research, I wanted a 75" that was the best overall value. While there may be some less expensive options, few TV's will upscale like this Sony and be HDR compatible at this price point.

TV was purchased to replace old 2000' Samsung plasma. So far its working great. Microphone feature allows you to seamlessly search the web and youtube. Outstanding cable video quality, note * bluetooth and location are turned on automattically.

4 Grand That Just Sits There

The TV looked great at Best Buy, the associates helping me were awesome. TV got delivered and I was happy with it at first. It's great for video games, but absolutely junk for anything else. When the screen is black, there's white blotches all over the screen. I turned down the backlight brightness until it was gone, but then the picture was dim. The saturation is HORRIBLE, also I tried to adjust the motion flow but I still get the soap opera effect. I haven't turned it on in over 2 months, would've taken it back but it's too late. It's going on Craigslist. And I'll be fine with my LCD Bravia that I got in 2010.

Sony 3D TV - Great TV

Great 3D Sony TV I ever bought. Very clear and bright picture it had. It is very very unfortunate that it died in the 5th year. It was sad to learn that they don't come in 3D anymore. So I had to settle for another non-3D Sony TV. I am a lover of Sony TV's. Also, it was easy to work with Best Buy who replaced my TV for a very little cost as it was covered under my extended warranty. Thank you Sony and Best Buy.

3 month old TV is dead

Purchased 1/5/16 a 75 inch 4K plus new Onkyo amp and Sony blue ray player. Bought what i thought was a top of the line product so why buy the extended warranty right. I have Sony stuff that is 20 years old. Well 3 months almost to the day i went to turn on the TV on and it won't power up. Checked all the usual reasons. If the TV is plugged in it makes a double click sound from inside the back of the TV every 5 seconds over and over but won't turn on so likely a circuit board is fried. I called Best Buy and there is no assistance whatsoever unless you buy the extra warranty. You would think they would facilitate normal warranty service locally. This TV is not easily shipped!. Got only condolences and the Sony support number from BestBuy. Called Sony and was supposed to hear back in 2-3 days. This is day 3 and nothing yet. I have a $3,500 near new TV that is completely non-functional. Sad thing is that i got rid of a 65 inch Mitsubishi projection 1080 TV that was 15 years old and still worked perfectly and had never needed service and 4 Samsungs in the house that have also been trouble free. I cannot recommend this TV and I am disappointed in Best Buy as well and will avoid Sony and BestBuyin the future.

Bought this TV open box at Best Buy a little over two weeks ago. GREAT picture. Has a bunch of features that I don't need, but are still cool. Really enjoying the high quality. 4K content looks ridiculous on here. No banding, all viewing angles look good. Great TV!

I purchased the 75" version of this tv, for $3500 I own 4 4k tvs now 1 samsung 65" curved 9000 series a 65" samsung 8550 series and a 50" suhd. This tv has the worst picture of them all from directv, we sit about 18' away from this tv and it is blurry and fuzzy, Sony supposedly has the best 4k upscaling either I have a bad unit or this is false. After 5 gruelling hours of trying to set the picture right, I called sony support which was pointless they blamed my HD signal which was never a problem with my other 4k tv. I was then told I was receive an email on how to fix this problem by this morning, it is now almost 9 pm nothing. I will be returning this tv tomorrow and paying more for a Samsung which hopefully works just as good as my other samsung tvs. On samsung tvs every source has beautiful 4k upscaling not the Sony it's sad that Sony does awesome on their av receivers and speakers, and ps4. I will never purchase a Sony tv again.

TV great but no glasses available

I love the TV and give it a 4 or so but heads up don't buy until you know glasses are available. I must have gotten the last few pair. It is sold out online here at Best Buy. Amazon has it at a high price. Other brands I don't trust. Worst is Best Buy can't tell customers when they will get them. I didn't like that response. BEWARE!!

My 75x850c is only OK.For some reason sometimes part of the face on tv show too much redish color.Only sporadically. Some times youtube or netflix get stock to a point that I have to unplug the system for 10 or so seconds than plug it back and it works! Recently I did not have the audio,so I turn the tv Off than On again and there is the audio... Amazing new android system.....Hopefully is fixable with updates .... I would like to add that I also own a 65 XBR for last two years and never have to do any unplugging. It never fail me in any way.I just wish that sony become the old reliable sony again....

A tv costing this much should come with 4 sets - 3D glasses. You can't even find recommended glasses for optimal performance and a place to purchase them.

Bought this TV because of the information received from the sales associate who is the expert on these 4K TV's. After 2 weeks of using it, started getting white screens and have to unplug the TV from outlet, then plug back in, other wise the white screen stays there. Bought it back in November 2015, have had the white screen happen 6 times now.

    Horrible TV

Well I am now on my fourth TV from Best Buy now. They have been great in sending out new TV's with no question. However the hassle of taking off work and dismounting and remounting these things is getting out of hand. As I mentioned on fourth one now and it is the worst one yet!!!!!! Awful picture with vertical banding and flash lighting all over the place. Trying to watch football or golf is just disappointing and embarrassing if someone is at the house. At this point I think I have given up on Sony and am going to try a different route. My 10 year old Mitsubishi DLP is 10 times the TV this Sony is in every way!!!!

    Buyer be ware

The original reason why we bought this television was because we were told the refresh rate was better for watching football. Well, got it delivered and right from the beginning we knew there was a problem. The picture was grainy and pixelated, even when viewing a movie in 4K on Amazon. Trying to watch football on ESPN was terrible. The picture broke up, and we could not enjoy the game. Our three other TV's are Samsung's. Returned it for the Samsung and have not regretted it since. I would not recommend this TV, used the "football" mode, and all it did was make the picture darker. So much for better football viewing!

The set will not do Chroma 4:4:4 at 4K at 60Hz. It won't even do 60Hz at 4:2:2 either without glitching giving a green strobe effect. In fact none of the 2015 Sonys work. Been using Sony since the original XBR1 and have two TVs since. Why are you limiting the HDMI inputs on these set is beyond me. Going back and will have to go with a Samsung that will work for my needs.

    Faulty tv

After 6 years a $4.250+ TV started smoking out of nowhere. Bought the 5 year extended warranty and from what I understood from the rep is that it would be an extended warranty after the warranty of Sony expires but I came to find out is that it’s from the day you buy the product so do not buy any extended warranty from Best Buy. third never needed it to use but one I need it they don’t stand for it. I am going to reach to Sony as it’s a fire hazard and a faulty quality product and if they stand for their quality products they will try to fix it. Had other tv that have last way longer and for a fraction of the price. I am super disappointed as I went the extra mile with everything getting Best Buy to install it get a good sound system with all the extras and 6 years later done.
