    SONY great with some CEC quirks, should be a 4.5

    SONY great in all TV specs, but I upgraded to this model because my older SONY stopped outputting Audio through the HDMI ARC to my Bose 700 soundbar. It also stopped controlling myh Apple TV via CEC. So far, I have had to restart this new TV about five times for the same reason. No audio through now a HDMI eArc and controlling the Apple TV. Let's hope this won't continue.

      Thank you for choosing Sony and for sharing your experience with the k75xr70, memotech. We’re glad to hear you’re pleased with the TV’s specs but sorry for the inconvenience regarding HDMI eARC audio and CEC (Bravia Sync) controls with your Bose 700 soundbar and Apple TV.

      We understand how frustrating it can be to experience loss of sound or control, especially when your previous TV had similar issues. These types of ARC/eARC and CEC challenges can occasionally occur due to compatibility, cable quality, or communication “lockup” between devices.

      To help ensure a stable experience:

      Make sure both your TV and soundbar are fully updated to the latest firmware.
      Use a new, high-quality HDMI cable rated for eARC (preferably a certified Premium model).
      Confirm that "Control for HDMI" and "eARC/ARC" options are enabled in both the TV and soundbar settings.
      If the problem persists, try unplugging both devices completely for two minutes, then reconnect, starting with the TV before powering the soundbar.
      For Google/Android TVs, clearing the TV’s ExternalInputServices app cache (in Settings > Apps > See all apps > Show system apps) can resolve persistent connection issues.
      If a specific HDMI device seems to “lock up” the system, try connecting only the soundbar and TV together to isolate the problem. If needed, a CEC-less HDMI adapter can be used for the troublesome device.
      We continue to refine compatibility via software updates, so keeping your devices current is essential. If you ever need more help—especially if restarts remain necessary—please reach out to our support team and we’ll work to provide a solution.

This TV is a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy a truly cinematic experience at home. In regards to the situation you've been experiencing with the TV turning on. There are a few things you can try:
      1- Make sure you push the power button on the Sony remote just once without holding it down to power off the set
      2- Check for a software update available on the TV. You can go to settings > system > about > software update
      3- Disable Bravia sync control settings by going to settings > channels and inputs > external inputs > Bravia sync settings > disable bravia sync control
