    Honestly not that great. Would have been better going with a 65” OLED for this price. Settled for the 75” x90 as I thought the big tv and image would be great, but the image did not impress me. If I could go back I would do the OLED instead. Not much to say, normal TV.

    “J” series TVs have an actively known issue with Google TV. I called Sony and this is what the rep told me. They are working on an update but who knows if and when it will be released. There is a defect that doesn’t allow apps to open or app will stop working while watching. YouTubeTV is one of the main culprits. Picture quality is great but 1 star for the unacceptable software defect. I have another Sony and TCL that never give me issues.

    The TV is okay. For the amount of money spent I would have expected better colors. OLEDs are a much better picture if you’re willing to spend more…I should have.

    No Android Screen Mirroring?

    Good picture, but 2021, a $2000 GOOGLE powered TV, and no obvious way to screen mirror from an Android phone? Very disappointing. My $500 TCL can do this without a hitch.

    Stay away from this Monitor. It is incredibly bloated. Google tv is intrusive to the point of creepy. The user agreement is beyond crazy. As far as the picture is concerned. It goes from Astonishing beautiful to oddly grainy.. at times the audio would mute. I returned this set out of concern for my privacy and fQuality issues. In addition Best Buy screwed up my return. Best Buy is literally becoming Circuit City. I fear it’s demise is near. Customer service has tanked.

    As a loyal Sony TV owner, I was disappointed. The picture quality and motion was not nearly as good as the 3 year old Sony I currently own. I returned it and bought a Sony OLED and love it!

    Tv is blurry when you walk up to it. Samsung tv’s never give you that distorted view also can’t use standard brightness have to use vivid.

    First one stopped working in one hour.

    Stopped working one hour after professional installation by Best Buy Geek Squad. The screen went completely black with no audio. Had them come back to troubleshoot and the issue was definitely in the TV. Returned it to the store for a new one which has been working fine for a couple weeks now.

    WiFi Broken

    The Wi-Fi receivers on Sony televisions are so low quality that they can only hold a connection for a few days. I find myself constantly restarting the television in order to find the signal because if you go into settings and try to turn the Wi-Fi on, the software switch won’t cooperate with you.

    Struggles with Sports

    Tv is not good for sports, it struggles on all picture modes with colors. Vivid and standard modes show unrealistic grass on the field or white blurry lines, cinema and custom modes show a better picture but not a good one.

    Got tired of waiting for what I really wanted and for what they had in stock so I settled for this. Picture not too much better than 1080P model. If you like bla and want a complicated set up, get this, instead spend the extra 1000 and get a Samsung Neo.

      The picture quality of the TV will depend on the source that you're playing. When a video in SD quality is being scaled up and played back, the quality will look poor, even on an HDTV. A video must have HD quality to be played back at high quality on an HDTV. A video with SD quality cannot be converted to HD quality or displayed in SD resolution without stretching. However, by adjusting the Sharpness and Picture Mode of the TV, the quality can be improved.

    Arrived defective, no customer service

    I’ve owned the TV for a month and a half. Went to plug in a sound bar into the optical port for the first time and got a horrible crackling sound instead of audio. Tried a different cord and plugged the sound bar into another tv — it worked perfectly. The optical input on the brand new tv is broken, but according to Best Buy, I’m out of luck because it’s outside of the return period. Apparently it’s my fault that I didn’t test out every feature and port within the first 15 days. Cannot recommend.

    Don't try and stream Comcast on this TV it will not let you. You have to rent the boxes to have Comcast on this TV. Price wise we paid to much same tv in Sam's for a fraction of the cost I'm upset over this.
