Great anti glare and anti reflection which was a major concern of mine for daytime viewing. Movies look great and immersive (sitting approximately 14’ away). Really happy with the gaming performance as well (PS5). As of this review, Sony hasn’t pushed the VRR update yet so hopefully it comes sometime in 2022. It will be fair to mention that I use a soundbar and subwoofer and cannot give a fair review on the sound the TV but the review is forcing me to give a rating.

The picture quality is something to behold, right out of the box it's fantastic!! Sound quality is ok but I recommend connecting a soundbar or AV receiver to this TV, AV receiver results in the best sound for me!! Setup was a breeze via my Google account!! I'm still testing out and learning all about what this TV has to offer but what I've experience thus far is amazing! The features of this TV are astounding!! So far this TV is as advertised!! I look forward to many years of enjoyment from this TV!

The picture on the new tv is incredible, rival the Oled image quality without the risk of screen burnout, infinite picture and sound adjustments, seamless with fast moving picture, action or sports alike, as long as the source is good. The speakers are excellent, I have not yet used my sound system since I got the tv. The look is very clean, almost frameless screen, sleek stand and great cable concealment, longevity will be the next test, Sony usually last forever (Still have most of my old, working, outdated Sony electronics).

Great TV whose only real problem is small children

The built-in software was easy to use. The eARC/ARC output worked well all the time (unlike other TVs I've used). The only problem I have with this TV is that it suffers from a vulnerability to young children throwing objects at it. Unfortunately, mine fell victim and the display cracked...which I'm told makes it a $2500 paper weight. I sure did love it for the two months I had it though. So the TV is amazing, but keep out of reach of children.

Went with this model due to area getting a lot of natural light. At night, it will pick up some glare if background overhead lights are on and you are watching something with dark backgrounds like a movie. Stand was easy to install and appreciate different options. Also like the hardware on back to cover inputs and wires.

While I am a Samsung fan, I didnt want to like this particular TV. Finding it very hard not to. The picture again is great. The sound was fine. I havent hooked it up to my soundbar yet, so no complaints there. I didnt like the location of the power button once I found it, nor the fact that the connections were all on the left side of the TV. I personally do not like Google TV, but I'm satisfied with the purchase. Did not like the vivid mode, but the IMAX and Movie modes were great when viewing movies.

Replacing a 65” Samsung 8000 mounted in our main room. IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference wacthing some Premier League, later put on something simpler(The Office) followed it up with a 4K movie….and this thing does laps around that Samsung, it was so evident how much better this thing is that even our roommate started considering replacing his tv! Sony is the best TV, always has been, always will be. Wont be making the Samsung mistake again.

Vizio had so much lag and i went for the top og the line vizio as well full array led, it does not compare to sony and the sound is amazing with out a bar can just imagine how much better it should get. Only Wish best buy would've offered me the 3 free months of apple tv that comes with the purchase.

After looking at both sets in person, I went with the Sony because the screen wasn't quite as reflective. I am very happy with the choice so far as the picture is excellent and the speakers are actually really good for a flat panel TV.

The TV always powers up on the home page, not the last input such as your CABLE BOX ! No other TV does this. Opening the setting Icon is only the quick settings menu and has nothing to fix this problem. Next, try finding the actual settings page-good luck ! It's not in any of the info or the manual. It took me hours of searching and finally stumbled across it on the home page. I couldn't find it at first because it's hidden. Stay on the top line and scroll across the top one position past the end and it suddenly appears ? What genius thought of this ? After the frustration of fixing this the set is PICTURE PERFECT.
