After spending some time with I have to say it is one of the best from the 2021 releases. Black blacks, IMAX mode really gives you that theater feel. Dolby vision is incredible. There are some slight knit picks, I do wish that all the modes were available to different formats. For example, when watching watching HBO max IMAX isn’t an option. Watching Disney+ it is. That just one thing that I wish could be different. Other than that if your considering buying the TV instead of the OLED. You won’t be disappointed. Overall this TV is great for 4K movies and for next gen gaming!

The sound quality is much better than the average flat-screen TV, and setup out of the box is easy. The Smart component is probably 5x faster than the TV we replaced. You should expect a SONY to last ten years or more. It is more expensive than the average TV but worth it for the quality. My last TV, which was not the best quality, went out in 3 1/2 years.

Cable channels are not always broadcast in 4K and even when they are, as determined by what the Display button on the remote indicates which is not dependable, the difference is not radically different from 720 to 1080 and 4K. 4K content on streaming services Netfix, Amazon Prime, etc. seems to offer a satisfying experience. I need more time to evaluate.

Thank you for the review. When a video in SD quality is being scaled up and played back, the quality will look poor, even on an HDTV. A video must have HD quality to be played back at high quality on an HDTV. A video with SD quality cannot be converted to HD quality or displayed in SD resolution without stretching. However, by adjusting the Sharpness and Picture Mode of the TV, the quality can be improved. For model-specific information about adjusting the Sharpness or Picture Mode options.

Good Audio/Video but bad user experience

The picture and audio are great, meeting the Sony quality. The google assistant integration is good. I feel that this is more of an enlarged phone in your home. Negatives: With the price at $2600, when I purchased, I feel that the launching the TV from slumber, power off and on, is very sluggish and slow. This could be contributed by the memory limitation on the hardware. Coming to bluetooth; when connected to bluetooth headphones, the voice breaks and spoils the experience of watching a movie, I tried with airpods and other bluetooth headphones to pinpoint the root cause. Also I have experienced wifi connectivity issues now and then. I would have been happy if I just use the TV as a non smart TV and have an external input like APPLE TV, with faster bootup of TV and user experience. I feel like Sony will face the same problem as their mobile phones if the user experience is not improved in the smart TV's. With the price and Sony brand for TV's, I would expect the TV user experience to match that of my PS4, that I have been using for more than 6 years.

Don’t go cheap on HDMI cables or the sound system. Wish I could put a larger one in my living room but considering I went from a 60” to this 75” this is a major upgrade. Crystal clear images and can’t imagine what the future will be when 8K streaming is available.

On paper it's not as bright as the Samsung QN90 but when you are watching it you won't really notice that much. The motion is far superior to the Samsung and finally what made my decision was the consistency and Sony quality control. The Samsungs have been having bad panel issues and I didn't want to be bothered. I LOVE the interfact. Remote is basic but fine.

I haven’t purchased a tv in 11 years so I did a lot of research and really wanted an OLED tv but due to have a bright room the tv was going in hat wasn’t the best option. Picture is great, sound isn’t as bad as I was anticipating with all of the negative reviews. I would highly recommend this tv for anybody with too bright of a room for an OLED.
