The quality surpasses the rest. I had to return 3 defective samsung tv's then i decided to try a Sony i will never buy a samsung again. The adjustable integrated stand is awesome. I do wish it came with the back lit remote, it would be easier to see the buttons.

Also the old remote had smoother buttons vs the new remote. Picture seems to be as good or better. Also every time I turn the tv on I want it to default to TV and it doesn't, I have to choose which direction I want to go. I don't like that maybe I have to program that function. I just don't know how.

I originally purchased a different brand and was terribly disappointed. Thanks to Best Buy I was able to exchange it for this Sony. The picture is so lifelike and the remote control is so easy to use. The way Sony upscales the picture quality is far superior to the other brand!

Bravia XR98 over Samsung QN85A

Great opportunity to see/hear both to compare and I would say the Bravia is the better choice. Sound is much better on the Bravia and having two HDMI 2.1 was a real difference maker for having a 4k Xfinity box and Xbox 1.

Its not terrible, but it is pretty noticeable, especially when used as a PC monitor(scrolling and such). Other than the DSE, the TV is what I expect from Sony, great color accuracy out of the box without the need for professional calibration, and very good motion control processing. Also, PERFECT for the PS5!

Just as good as OLED or QN90 If not better

I never experience the 4k from youtube is that good. Out of the box picture may not be the best. I have the adjust the picture setting. Adding sound from Sonos system to completed the set up. Was disappointed to find out during the set up process that Sony does not support my local tv provider. I then had to purchase a ROKU to download my tv provider app so I could watch tv. I wish the salesperson had told me this before the purchase because I would have chosen a different brand. They should have asked me who my tv provider was as they service a large population in the Rochester area.

My only complaint is the TV turns on by itself periodically. Sony is aware of this problem. I've followed all there suggested fixes with limited success. Google really needs to push out a software fix for this; otherwise, it's a great TV.

If I press power on remote TV will just click. the led on the front lights up then goes out. It takes about three tries to turn on and its always as if it is rebooted. It always randomly clicks all the time when its off all night long.

Great Picture, Spotty Ethernet Connection

This would've been 5 stars, except that it keeps losing my ethernet connection, and there's an annoying message that pops up on the screen telling me that - about ever 30 seconds. If I connect to the Internet via WIFI, no problem, but I prefer to use ethernet - don't want to slow down the other devices I have, which are connected via WIFI.
