Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the picture quality, calling it amazing. They also appreciate the large screen size, easy setup, and affordable price. While most customers are pleased with their purchase, a few have concerns about the remote control being difficult to use, the lack of warranty for pixel issues, the TV's weight, and the flimsy stand.

Sony 75" Poor Quality.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Died after 4 years of minimal use. I would not recommend this expensive Sony 75" TV to anyone. A $2000 TV six years ago should last longer than it should.

Very fragile, poor warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv 3 months ago. Two people removed the TV from the wall mount and set it down gently so we could hide the wires. Upon returning it to the wall 25% of the screen was black. Nothing hit the screen, the TV was not dropped and the screen was not cracked. Upon talking with Sony there response was it's too bad it's not covered. So basically if you hold this TV the wrong way or too hard the screen will break. Extremely poor quality if the TV breaks this easily. They should tell you not to ever touch it. Sony would not repair or give any discount on a replacement.

Don't buy Sony TVs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't buy Sony TVs. I purchased the 75X850C model and after a year and a half the screen has a vertical blue line on the whole screen. I've read forums and it happens a lot on Sony TVs. It is very expensive to get this fixed

TV never worked right and then went dead
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV consistently would go to snow from time to time. We thought the receiver was bad, it turned out to be the TV since the TV went completely dead after 18 months. $3500 TV when I purchased it and gone after 18 months. This is actually the 2nd Sony top of the line TV I have owned over the past 10 years that went much quicker than it should. I will never buy a Sony again.

Worst TV I have ever owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t buy this TV. Just don’t. I own TVs from almost every major manufacturer: Samsung, LG, Panasonic, you name it. I’ve never been so dissatisfied with a TV. The software that runs this TV is horrible. Here are just a few issues I’ve had with this TV: (1) won’t stay connected to WiFi; (2) TV won’t turn off, pressing power just restarts the TV; (3) Switching inputs will often result in no picture being displayed and requires a power cycle to correct; (4) messages appear telling me random software modules failed or quit unexpectedly; (5) there’s a 3-4 second delay for the TV to respond when pressing a button on the remote; (6) menus are the most confusing I’ve ever seen. Seriously, this is a terrible TV. Do yourself a favor and buy any other brand of TV. You can get better TVs for much cheaper. This TV is a disaster.

Delicate garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Similar experience with customer service as the previous one star review. Woke up one morning to lines on my screen. Created a claim, sent pictures, they reviewed it, and said there appears to be damage done to the tv. Nothing lying around the tv, nor is it mounted to the wall to suggest something happened as we were sleeping. Won’t accept it, won’t do anything. Gave us the total corporate run around. The resolution manager actually told me it could’ve been caused by finger pressure! Really?!? Finger pressure?! For $2,300 my finger better break/buckle before the TV! All they would offer us a discount. Never told us a percent, but it worked out to be $44 cheaper than we bought the tv for on Black Friday! We bought the newest Dolby audio system as well...not worth the $1k either. I have a Dynex tv I bought 11 years ago that still works like a charm. And it cost a fraction of this paper weight piece of junk

Picture Went Grey/Blue After 18 Months, No Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this TV in April of 2018 and the picture went out this weekend, (November 2019) Tried everything including reboot, connections, Sony suggestions, etc. Nothing. Contacted both Best Buy/Magnolia and Sony and both stated that because its 18 months ago, the warranty is no longer active. I would have to pay to have it serviced and fixed. They offered no further assistance and only to sell me a new one at a discounted price. A TV of this supposed quality and cost should last longer than 18 months, especially since it was used sparingly as a second TV. I would NOT recommend this TV to any of my friends...or enemies for that matter.

Annoying to power-on this lovely TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seldom have I been so infuriated by the simple act of turning the TV on. You press the power on button, the on light (at the bottom of the screen comes on. After a few seconds it goes out. If you try again, voila, it works! I search high and low for a solution but there was nothing online or offline! Finally, by pure accident I held down the power button for about 10 seconds and it worked the first time. This flaw should be emblazoned on every bit of material that describes this TV: WARNING... YOU MUST HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR TEN SECONDS TO TURN THE POWER ON THIS TV.
