Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the 75" Class X800G Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV, particularly praising its exceptional picture quality, affordable price, and user-friendly setup process. The large screen size and vibrant colors also receive positive feedback. However, some users have concerns about the remote control's compatibility with certain devices, the 60Hz refresh rate, and the product's durability and lifespan.

Good work Sony on this affordable model. Excellent picture and features. Worth the few hundred dollars more than the other lower end brand models. Glad I made the right decision. The picture is outstanding with very little screen glare. 1080p looks great and 4k content is amazing. Nice to have a Sony receiver and the PS4 with a Sony TV. Just saying. With Google Assistant and Android TV, just awesome.

I was excited to purchase this TV. It worked good for about a month than it would not turn on unless I unplugged it. This happened once in a while at the beginning but started to increase in the months ahead today I had to unplug it 5x and finally it stayed on but than turned off all by itself. I downloaded the new update after I talked to sony on chat but the problem seems worse now. I bought this TV in Nov 2019 I will be trying to return it as soon as possible. I don't recommend anybody to buy this tv from my experience who knows mine may just be that 1 out of 1000 that completely sucks. I thought upgrading and buying a Sony would be a good move but it wasn't. Too be fair when the TV is working it is pretty awesome. But it is so frustrating having to consistently unplug the tv and hope it turns on.

Poor quality / no support from SONY

Very disappointed with SONY reliability / quality. After just 3 years of in house room, the 75'' LED 4K UHD TV when bad. Does not turn at all. SONY says it is out of warranty. So SONY does not stand by the big expensive TVs after just 3 years. After this, will not buy another SONY TV ever again. Better of buying cheap TVs and replacing them every 3 years if need to.

    TV Has Short Life

I was really excited for this 4K TV when first purchased and I decided to forgo to extended warranty as I still have TVs from 20+ years ago with no picture issues. Out of the box it worked great with a quick internal processor so streaming in 4K worked really worked well, and the overall picture was as advertised. Well just three year in and now some pixels seemed to have eroded and now there is a line that runs horizontally and vertically on the display screen. This will probably be my last time ever purchasing a Sony product as I look at my 60-inch Plasma TV from Panasonic purchased almost 20 years ago which has moved across houses, rooms ect. and is in perfect condition while this TV couldn't make it past 3 years while staying put on the same wall the whole time. I would be more understanding if I was moving this TV around the house and would expect the damage was physical but for the fact the TV is not touched makes be believe the damage came during manufacturing and eroded over time, this is the quality of their product, or I just received a faulty product. Either way, these issues tend to happen to me only when purchasing Sony products and this will most likely be the last time doing so especially with the help desk being of little to no help.

    Sony let me down!

Tv worked great for 11 months then the screen got blurry. Had trouble contacting anyone for warranty repair due to covid. After nearly a month finally got someone and they said it was out of warranty by 3 weeks. I would have to take it to a local tv repair place. Sony let me down on this one. Been an avid Sony supporter for years. At least the Playstation is still going!

The tv was working great until...

We loved our tv until one day the remote control stopped working and the tv is only 4 months old. Went through the troubleshooting process via Sony website and finally was directed to reset the tv. In the end the remote control still didn't work. Can't get anyone from Sony on the phone and could only speak to someone via instant messaging. Was told someone would have to come and repair the tv but they couldn't tell me what needed to be repaired. Completely frustrated that we spend a nice $$$ for this tv and the remote control to just stop. Now our tv is stuck in setup mode.

Pooped out after just 2 years! The TV turns on but NO SCREEN displayed. Sony support tried trouble-shooting and gave up - told me it's a broken part and needs a repair. this will be my last Sony I buy! It's 75" and I'm a single mom - need an in-home repair that going to cost me big bucks!!!!
