Four stars because of the unstable table top supports...We had to add additional supports as the triangular nature of the built ins were within 1/8" of the TV stand we bought and if the TV moved, we feared it would crash to the floor or back wall. The stands should be flat to provide better stability. Not a fan of Google TV and limited apps available, Roku 4K wouks well; however we can't control volume or on/off as we could with our Samsung.

Easy to operate, make sure the room is big enough for these 75 or bigger screens. If your to close the picture is not good , distance maters ! 20 ft’ or more.

We're happy that you like the picture quality and overall performance of this TV. To maximize and enjoy the full features of your 4K Ultra HD TV, you must have a 4K device connected to your TV. This will give you access to 4K services such as shows, channels, and have premium 4K video experience. Streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video also provide a huge amount of 4K and HDR supported content.
If you have an antenna connected to the TV, you could test the broadcast channels by pressing DISPLAY button on the remote to display the information about the channel/program/input you are viewing. The channels that appear vary depending on your region, and the type and placement of your antenna.
Your X80J supports 4K X-Reality Pro, this means that non-4K content is upscaled to 4K resolution automatically by increasing the definition through super-resolution processing. Voice button picks up all words perfectly fine, accurate search results. Sometimes freezes and the only way to fix it is unplugging it. Just a little over a year old.

Getting a 75 inch 4k for 550$ is a good deal. The picture clarity is good and sound system is great. I also got geek protection for another 110$ for 5 yrs… definitely worth buying..

Somewhat confusing syncing with cable but I got it. I was hoping to be able to use 1 remote for everything but unfortunately I still have to use the cable remote to access DVR. Another downside of Sony remote is it doesn't light up like my cable remote does. We're often watching TV with the lights off and it's a nuisance to have to go to turn on the lights to change channels or make any other TV adjustments. I guess we could keep a flashlight handy.

I wanted an easy smart tv for my kids to use and also had the best quality picture and app selection. I went back and forth between the Samsung qled (comparable model to Sony) and the LG nano and glad I selected the Sony. The app selection with Google is great and the picture quality is good. Don’t expect to OLED quality by any means, but wanted to keep my spending under $1,000.
