I really wanted to like this tv. However, the picture will look much different in your livingroom vs the sales floor. Picture is very dark.. Even with the bright set to "max", the darkness is overbearing. Luckily, Im within the return window. I will be swapping for another model

If your TV screen brightness suddenly changes, check the Ambient light sensor, Light and Color sensor or Light sensor settings. If the sensor setting is on, the brightness of the TV screen changes to match the ambient lighting.
That said, picture quality also depends on the signal and content. In addition to adjusting the different picture modes, you can also configure various settings related to the TV display such as color and brightness for picture quality, or screen size. Select the appropriate picture setting for your Google TV which best suits you. The picture quality may improve if you change it in [Picture] under [Settings].

Don't buy this TV. I should have listened to all the negative reviews especially people on Amazon. I was so excited to have this delivered and hiring someone to mount it on my wall, this is the image that I get. Terrible backlight bleeding. I got a bad panel even though I bought it new. This is not worth 1 thousand dollars. I decided to upgrade to the X90k for $1399 just to avoid this LED bleeding problem. Absolutely ridiculous. Now I have to go through the hassle of having best buy deliver a new TV and spend my time unmounting this terrible x80k from my wall. If you're looking in the low end of TVs, Sony is not exactly the best bang for your buck. Big mistake purchasing this.

I bought this TV on black Friday for 999.99 and i gotta say it was well worth the buy on that day! I specifically bought it for the PS5 and although it does recognize the system being that it is a sony product the TV does have its limitations from LLM to ADHR cant be activated but 4K is on par with some other high end TV the AI is a bit sluggish even after the update but its still decent

Vibrant colors and easy to use O/S. I bought this for my parents and they are 73 and 65. The O/S is very simple for the non tech users. The remote is simple with not many buttons.
The picture quality is very good (not amazing) but it an excellent unit but not more avid movie watchers that use blu-ray and other media.

Best Buy TV nightmare with Geek Squad rescue

The Geek Squad team removed the non working tv and finally placed the box for hidden cords with the new tv that was installed by team VZW and teammate with much needed teamwork efficiency.
It takes two members to successfully deliver, install and mount correctly. Unfortunately when I made my original purchase. I purchased all the items from your Best Buy Store so that I would have my tv installed and mounted without wires showing. The original tv worked for 1 1/2 days before spiraling on its own and then the power button would not work.
I immediately called third party installer to let him know the tv was no longer working. He told me to contact Best Buy. I have had to call almost daily to get an updated appointment. Many customer service agents would transfer me from one department to the next. This was one of the most frustrating experiences ever. I am happy that on 3/28 the Geek Squad arrived to take down first tv an complete installation of the second tv. I pray that no other customer should ever experience such a lack of support to the point of purchasing on the March 6, with delivery promised on March 7 and that is where everything fell apart with effective communication.Due to Best Buy , I purchased all needed accessories on March 6, but my working tv utilizing the Geek Squad was finally mounted and installed on March 28. I was told by Angelique who began a case escalation with Case ID- 332045292 which was to be sure I wouldn’t be charged any additional installation fees, but Geek Squad required a box that was an additional $149.99 that I had to pay or they would not apply the box that I thought I paid for all necessary equipment when I purchased the tv in store.
