The TV itself is impressive. Great looking, fantastic interface and all the picture adjustments you could ask for- basally everything I've ever heard about Sony. However, after less than a week a thin, black line appeared going vertically on the left side of the screen. No amount of system resetting or internet research has been able to fix it. It's really disappointing that after all this time, with product quality going down all over the place that a flagship, premiere brand like Sony would be lumped in with the rest. I paid a lot of money for this TV, based on a lot of factors I was OK with spending the money. But after less than seven days, the product to malfunction-- I'm left wonder why should I even bother? After decades at the top, it seems that Sony has slid back to the rest of the pack in consumer electronics, Just another company cutting corners on materials and quality churning out products as fast as possible. I will be returning this item.

Only compliant I have is that when the TV is off and you look at it from a far angle, you see the screen is wavy. It's not noticeable when the TV is on. Not sure if this is normal for large format televisions.

When watching sporting events you almost get the feeling that you are part of the action. The sound is almost too good as the background noise for many sporting events makes it difficult to hear the announcers. The high definition provides an excellent picture qualify.
