My whole house is wired with Amazon Fire TV which essentially means I can't use any Amazon remotes with this TV. I must have both the Sony and Fire TV remote by my side or I can just turn it on and control the volume with Sony's remote. I would NOT recommend this TV if you use Amazon products! I believe it will work and might even be optimized for Google products.

Network problem

It is unfortunate to hear you're having a network issue with your X900H. Please refer to the suggested troubleshooting steps below to isolate and fix the network connection problem.
• The Wi-Fi signal strength is weak
- Place the router close to your TV, then check if the signal strength has improved.
• Your TV is too close to the router
- It is recommended that the TV and router be at least 1 meter (3 feet) apart.
• Other devices are connected to the same network
- If other devices are downloading large-sized files, such as videos, the network speed may slow down. Cancel or wait until this activity completes and try again.
• Restart your TV and reset your router
- To restart your TV, press and hold the POWER button on the remote control for about five seconds until Power off appears on the TV screen.
- To reset the router, check your router manual for instructions.
• Interference from other wireless devices
- If multiple wireless devices or electric equipment, such as microwave ovens, are used at home, it may affect the Wi-Fi performance of your TV. Power off these devices when not in use, or keep them away from your TV.
- Electromagnetic interference may also occur depending on the location of the TV. If possible, change its location and check if the performance improves.
• Check the frequency band setting of your router (for dual-band routers)
- Some routers support multiple frequencies (ex: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), if your router supports this feature, try a different frequency.

Sony failed to impress me

I have exchanged the sound bar thinking it's defective but even the next one has same issues. I have switched from eArc to optical and now it's even worse. I decided to not use audio system for some days and now the audio keeps cutting from TV speakers as well. When we cast from andriod or apple only video there is no audio. I have made sure the firmware is up to date and has good internet connection. I would like to have someone from Bestbuy or Sony to troubleshoot and exchange if it's possible, not sure if this is TV's fault or speakers. I have spent around $2500 and definitely not for this experience.

Not what I expected

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After being loyal to Samsung, Best Buy TV specialists were explaining to me the newest technology and advised me on Bravia - I did previously buy a Bravia 10 years ago also so after all the Samsung’s I’ve had since I bought a large house I figured I would make the switch. The picture quality does not match what I expected and the price I spent when I could have purchased a Samsung for hundreds less. At times blurry and not as clear as with the same POP of light it does in store. The volume is not solid and the controller does not pair all that well. Not the happiest as I purchased an OLED and not content. I have 4 other rooms that need TV’s and would need some serious convincing to give Sony another try. I know these will have issues after my 1 yr warranty ends : (

Not the best experience

Sony x900h not so great

Unacceptable for a tv at any price but especially for what they are charging for this one.

Horrible TV

I’ve had problems with this Sony since the day i bought it. Disconnecting from the internet, exiting channels in the middle of shows and worst of all hard re-booting itself constantly. At least once a day and some days 4 or 5 times. Sony support has been useless. Never another Sony product. I also tried to return it to Best Buy but it was too late.

Horrible Sound

But soon I started having audio issues. I’ll be watching a program on Directv and the audio will become distorted. Or the audio gets out of sync with the video. Sometimes by almost 30 seconds. Each time it’s fixed by turning off the tv. I’m going to try to return it and get a Samsung. This is my first Sony and I’m very disappointed.

Maybe Faulty TV?

I had a $600 hisense 75"TV that was 1000 better than this Sony TV. This TV was $2100 when I got it. Totally not worth the price. I ended up getting an LG OLED. Much much better.

Disaster purchase

Called about someone picking it up and exchanging it for a new one. It supposedly was set up for Dec 12th between 1200 and 8:00 pm. No one ever called or showed up. So now we have a tv with no sound until we can get this very large paperweight picked up. Worst purchase ever.

Less than 1 year and the picture has crapped out

Purchased it less than a year ago and now the display is completely messed up and color turned yellowish. Sony used to be the gold standard - now it is not even in the same league as LG. The LG CX series is worth the money - don't buy this TV.
