We’re sorry to hear you are experiencing some freezing issues. This is definitely not the experience we wanted you to have in our product. We have taken note of your issues. Customer feedback is important to us because it helps us improve our products for the future. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. Some of these issues can be fixed by simply restarting the TV. To do that, simply press the power button for about 5-10 secs while the TV is on.
There are a couple things to try to fix the issue.
If you are watching from an external output like a cable box or your blu-ray please make sure that you have enabled the Enhanced Format setting on the TV. When you watch 4K picture with High-Quality, use a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable(s) that supports speeds of 18 Gbps. For details on a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable(s) that supports 18 Gbps, please refer to the cable specifications.
The following are required to watch high resolution HDR pictures such as 4K (50p/60p)*.
- Connect the 4K (50p/60p)* playable device.
- Use a Premium High Speed HDMI Cable(s) that supports 18 Gbps.
- Set [HDMI signal format] to [Enhanced format] by selecting [Settings] — [BRAVIA Settings] — [External inputs] — [HDMI signal format] — the HDMI terminal you want to set.
- Check whether the connected device has the latest settings or firmware.
For streaming, quality depends on the original video provided by the video content provider and your connection bandwidth. If your network is not fast enough, you cannot enjoy 4K/HDR content at the best quality. The required network speed depends on the service. In general, speeds that resemble the following are necessary:
Streaming standard definition (SD) Internet video: 2.5 Mbps
Streaming high definition (HD) Internet video: 10 Mbps
Streaming Ultra HD (4K) Internet video: 25 Mbps

What the heck with Sony and Best Buy quality?!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv on Oct 28 2020 and it is amazing in everything, but not until on Nov 1 2020, I discovered my tv have 2 dead pixels which is unacceptable for the price of this tv that I paid for so I requested to get an exchange, and the exchange unit is more terrible than the original unit! This exchange unit has 7 to 10 dead pixels on 3 areas around the center of the screen. I called Best Buy and asked them is the exchange they send to me is it brand new, and they said it is brand new. No way in heck, a brand new expensive tv has 7 to 10 dead pixels in 3 areas on the center of the screen. So I requested another exchange unit, and it will arrive Wednesday Nov 18 2020. I pray and hope that this exchange unit will arrive in perfect condition. I don't know what Sony and Best Buy quality control and such, but this is ridiculous that I have to go through.

Check if the issue occurs when on the TV's home screen.
- Use the Picture/Sound symptoms feature of your TV to check the cause of the issue.
- If the issue doesn't occur while on the home screen, and after performing the Picture/Sound symptoms, check if the screen flickers while on a different input.
- If you're experiencing the issue while using an external device, verify the physical cable connection between the TV and the device, as well as the device settings. If possible, try to use a different cable.
For HDMI inputs issue, press the INPUT button to display the list of inputs, then select the desired input.
- If you cannot select a connected device in the Home Menu, check the cable connection between the device and TV.

WORST TV EVER !

I’m forced to give it a 1 star but it’s truly a 0 star. Run from anyone trying to sell this TV to you. Sony has gone way down hill when it comes to TVs. This TV has the worst juddering, lag and the poorest quality look and feel you could ever see. I have a 13 year old sharp Aquos that blows this TV out of the water..!!! To make this short you will be very disappointed if you purchase this TV. Unless your switching from an old Tube TV to this, then maybe you might enjoy the picture. Trust me there are way better TV’s out there for a whole lot less what Sony’s asking for there crap TV’s. What a shame what Sony has resorted to for there TV line.

On some screens, sports and fast action scenes go by in a blur or motion lag. Our Motionflow XR refresh rate technology keeps movement smooth and clear, allowing fast moving action sequences in sports and movies to be seen with lifelike clarity which results in less motion blur and afterimage, more flowing motion. In addition, picture quality depends on the signal and content. You can configure various settings related to the TV display such as motionflow and cinemotion settings for picture quality to smooth out any content. You can also select the appropriate picture mode for your Android TV according to the content you are watching such as movies or sports to enhance your viewing experience. Do not Buy!!! Sony!!

Terrible defective TV try to take it back to the store and they send me to Sony, Sony asked me to take it back to a Sony store to see what was the problem, but the close it store for me it's in LA. Don't have time to drive 10 hours with 2 jobs.. I don't have days off. I just want another TV. No more Sony nor Best Buy for me. Now I have to pay a 1,000 dollar TV that it doesn't work.

Sony 75 inch tv

Got home and mounted it on the wall, turned it on and there was horrible light bleeding in every corner. I tried to see if it would go away but it did not and the picture quality was terrible. I returned it before I was stuck with it two weeks after I bought it. The functionality of the tv was okay except one day I could not get it to open any apps and had to unplug it to get it to work again. Returned and bought a LG CX series.

Constant crashes no support help!

It was during a pandemic so I tried not to be bothered by the TV resetting itself during viewing from time to time. Some days it would not crash other days it would crash multiple times. I have been trying to get this resolved with SONY the only fix was to clear the cache that was a guaranteed fix (not true), factory reset it was the next magic fix (still not true) and NOW I am told to wait for a firmware update to fix it. I am so disappointed in not only the TV but in the run around SONY is giving me.

Horrible audio problems

I bought 4 different sound bars now and audio goes in and out no matter what app is bing used i wish i could return it honestly but im stuck with this garbage its no wonder sony only have it a 1 year warranty. I definitely will be getting rid of it and never ever buying a sony tv again. Waste of my hard earned money.
