White spots on screen Sony 75" Class XBR X800H

The picture is not sharp at all. The 11 year old Sharp TV i had and replaced with this one had a way better picture. Don't get it it looked great on the showroom floor. Not even close. I need to contact BestBuy and see why this is happening. So disappointed.

Slow Apps on TV After Update

After the update, the TV is now running super slow when we turn it on. It takes a couple minutes to load the apps and be able to move around in-between the tabs. We have to do a hard restart every day now through the settings in order to get it running a little faster. This is not an Internet issue as we hard-wired the TV in to the router. I would not recommend buying this TV unless you want to have a slow TV after a few months.

The date and time settings of this TV may be incorrect. Depending on certain apps and services, you may not be able to connect to those apps and services if the time is incorrect.

Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, verify that the TV is no longer shutting off automatically after completing each step.
1. Ensure that the power cord of the TV is connected directly to a wall outlet.
2. Ensure that the Sleep Timer setting that is located in the Home or Setup menu of the TV is set to Off.
3. Ensure that the Idle TV Standby setting, located in the Home or Setup menu of the TV, is set to Off.
4. The screen may have been turned off due to [Screen saver] settings.

No sound on apps!

Worse TV ever! Do not buy!

Good TV IF you are mounting it on a wall.

I checked and recheck to make sure I had them properly seated in the bottom of the tv, they only insert about 3 inches into the bottom of the tv. Which enables the the top to sway about 2-3 inches back and forth. It felt like it wouldn’t take much to topple the more than 100lbs tv over. Returned for another brand.

white hot spots

But there are white hot spots when the TV is on a dark background, and it looks terrible. It was this way from the day I tuned it on and seems to be getting worse. I think its prob a manufacturer defect. I'm going to see how I can return it and get something that is higher quality.

Do not buy!

I bought it in July 2020 and already need someone to come out and take a look at it. The picture is not as vibrant as expected and again, now I don’t even have sound. I would not buy this tv again not would I recommend it to anyone.

We’re sorry to hear your you are experiencing audio issues with your Sony Bravia TV. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. Some of these issues can be fixed by simply restarting the TV. To do that, simply press the power button for about 5-10 secs while the TV is on. You can isolate this issue by following the troubleshooting steps below.
1. If the issue persists after the TV has restarted, perform a power reset and disconnect peripherals from the TV.
In additional to restarting your TV, please make sure it was done by power cycling the TV by unplugging it for 60 seconds and re-plugging it back in.
2. If you are using the TV built-in speaker, make sure the sound output is set to TV speakers and not Audio system
- Press the (Quick Settings) or ACTION MENU button, then select [Speakers] — [TV speakers].
- Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Speakers] — [TV speakers].
3. If headphones or Bluetooth audio devices are connected, sound is not output from the TV speakers or audio system connected via eARC/ARC. Remove the headphones or disconnect the Bluetooth audio device. Also, check the volume control.
4. If a specific audio system is connected with an HDMI cable, please follow the steps provided on the link below to isolate and fix the issue.

Lip Sync Issue

Sony Support updated the TV to the latest firmware but the problem is still there. However, they are aware of the issue. If I use the Amazon Fire TV Stick I don't have this problem. So, I will make arrangements to return the TV and hopefully find something that will work

Horrible Tv

I thought because I had a X800H series this would be as good as the one I had. Picture quality was very poor.
