    The TV is great. Couldn’t be happier with it. Pretty annoyed that the only reason I bought it from Best Buy was the $50 worth of rewards points that they were going to give me, but that has apparently been discontinued and now it is too late to return it. I won’t be shopping at Best Buy again.

    Right out of the box the TV had a white line down the left side of the screen, notified Sony, they tried to fix remotely, now the TV will not power on.

      1- Unplug the TV from the power for 2 mins and then plug it back in
      2- Disconnect all external devices from the back and try a different power outlet
      3- Try to manually turn on the TV from the power button located underneath the TV in the middle.

    Best picture I've had in owning TV's and I own a Samsung 75" OLED. Picture is super clear no matter where you sit watching. Sound is an 8 out of 10 but with soundbar your sitting in a theater.

    The Bravia 8 picture is beautiful. However, it powers off intermittently even though I have disabled all of the settings which might cause it. This is a known problem and very frustrating.

    Picture is excellent, Google TV works extremely well. I was using an Apple TV with my older Sony TV connected through an AV receiver prior to getting this Bravia. I'm now just using the built in Google TV connected directly to my AV receiver on the new Bravia 8. HDMI handshakes are now always flawless, no long delays waiting for Apple TV to start decoding Dolby Atmos, it's all very fluid and fast. Moved the Apple TV to my other TV. Also to correct another review here, it does not always default sound output to the TV; my receiver is always outputting the sound when the Bravia is turned on. I didn't even have to indicate any setting on the TV for this to happen.

    Fantastic viewing angles. very little glare. response is nearly instant. of all the TVs ive had in recent years, this one is a significant quality of life upgrade. i plan on having this TV for a long time and will try to stick to the Bravia brand as much as possible.
