Not only that the first one I bought broke within a year which obviously was not great. I appreciated the fact that they stood behind their warranty and took care of it by sending me a brand new TV.

This TV is that good! OLED is so good, I regret purchasing a top end QLED 2 years prior. This tv is plenty bright unless you have sunlight coming in direct on the screen. The only knock with this tv is that it does not have 4 hdmi 2.1 ports, it has 2. However, the tv natively supports DTS audio codecs for us lovers of physical media.

Sony outdid itself after owning several LG 4k televisions the black levels were so disappointing. So after doing research on oled televisions I decided it wasn't time to go cheap and that was the best decision I had ever made. I just love this tv this set fits my home theater perfectly. When not looking at my 110-inch projector screen for movie watching this tv more than holds it own. If you purchase this tv trust me you will not be disappointed. Sony you knocked it out the park!!!

First time with an OLED

The black levels are as advertised; complete, total black. The picture is incredible. The TV is very thin and looks very nice mounted on a wall. Pricey, yes, but you won't need another television for a very long time.

Tried rapid image color changes slight pressure on the pixels and heat cold tricks on the screen. Nothing seemed to work to make it work properly. Traded that model for the a80j as the dead pixels were a no go for me. The a80j in my opinion has faster reaction on game mode. Better color and brighter screen overall. Much happier with this purchase over the a9g. Granted if the a9g did not have the dead pixels I would have been happy with that purchase. I would recommend this tv to my friends as it works well as a home theatre screen or main living room screen.

Speaking of picture, it doesn't come any better than this!! If you're buzzed and watching something in a dark room, it looks like the picture is floating in the blackness of your room!! Family and friends who've seen this TV, let out a slight gasp of amazement when they see the picture for the first time!! If you can afford this, I highly recommend it!!! The only thing to complain about, is the standard complaint for OLED TV's, they're not bright enough in all situations. It hasn't affected me, yet, since I usually have the shades pulled if I'm watching a movie.

I'm a recovering videophone, and this TV is just amazing. I chose this one over the LG because I want the more accurate colors and the better processing. I wish it had 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, but I only need the two. Coming from even really good led TV's, this is a significant step up. On LED TVs you're constantly seeing the limitations of the technology. With this TV (and OLED in general), you're just looking at the content and not having to waste brain power thinking about raised black levels, less impactful colors, blooming, light fluctuations, or how good the local dimming is. It's not an inexpensive TV, but it's worth the money.
