I’ve purchased some quality televisions before but this one has crisp graphics. The pixels are high quality. The sound is impeccable! I felt like I was there live. I tried it first without a sound bar. With the front speakers on this television, I felt it really didn’t need a sound bar. I would purchase again in the future when I need another television set.

Very impressed with this TV

First, the size, it’s 77 inches. Need I say more. And it is only a few inches wider than my old 65” TV. So I was able to use the same TV stand and not have to rearrange the room. Second, the picture. It is fantastic, especially when you stream a show that is in high enough resolution. It is bright, crisp and detailed. Football on it is fantastic. I’ll admit, it was more than I wanted to spend, but the fact that it was on sale made the price easier to swallow.

The difference between a $1600 tv and a $3000 tv is very apparent, from all aspects of picture quality to overall build quality of the Tv itself. If you are like me, then a TV will last several years, spend a bit more, you will enjoy it that much more. Great investment

I’ve always had SONY TVs since the 90’s and they never disappoint! My last purchase was in 2016 when I got a my first 4K for my San Francisco home. This new SONY is for my newly built beach house. And if your a gamer, your in for a real treat!!! If your home is wgerr ypu sepnd most of your time, meaning you dont go out to bars and all that kind of stuff, and you just like to relax at home after work and on the weekends, then this is definitely an investment you might want to consider!!

The picture is fantastic, high build quality. Use Classy Tech videos to help you dial in the settings and this thing will do everything you want. I use it for streaming, video games, viewing photos, Blu-Ray viewing. The sound is fantastic - you've got the option to use the TV as your center speaker. You will probably want to. If you can still get one of these, do it!

The Best TV I have ever had.

If you are a hard core gamer maybe the LG. If you want a UHD movie to look at as good as possible. Sony FTW. I really wanted an 83" but can't justify the price. I can have two 77s for the price of the 83. But... I still debated about getting the 83. For me, that shows just how good this tv is and can imagine how the 83 would be.

Incredible TV

We compared the top brands and so glad we chose this one. The colors are excellent, tv app options work well and the remote is easy to master. We feel like we’re sitting in prime seats at the theater. After owning other top brands, Samsung and LG, this surpasses them all. I can’t speak to the immersive sound, we added a Sonos sound bar and “Wow”. Dialog is clear, music and sound effects are excellent. All set up by Geek Squad techs. 5 stars all around.

A big upgrade from my 65" LG that I had prior and I really don't even need the sounder, unless I want that loud surround sound feel. So far no complaints or problems 1 month in with the TV, but the only thing I can complain about is it took till December 17th before I got it delivered to my house when I bought it on November 11th.

The picture, for 4k programming, is as stunning as advertised. But it's more than that; the wide screen makes it seem like you're watching a movie in the theatre, and the sound bar is not only loud, but it's subtle and dynamic. And the team that came to install it were outstanding. I especially appreciate them spending a few extra minutes with us, to help ensure we got set up with all the streaming services we ordered. It's been a great purchase.

Issues with TV turning off automatically

The only issue is the picture will constantly turn off. Geek Squad delivered it and installed it. They came back a couple weeks later to take the cheap HDMI cord I had behind the wall and installed the cinnamon AudioQuest HDMI. The person went into the settings on the TV, but the TV is still doing it. Might be 15 mins or 8 hours on and it turns off. Anyone else experiencing this?

This is usually not the case and the experience we wanted you to have on our premium TV. Let's try to isolate and fix the problem by following the steps below:
• The TV turns off automatically.
- The screen may have been turned off due to [Sleep timer] settings.
- Check the [Duration] setting of [Timer].
- Check if [Idle TV power off] in [Power & Energy] is activated.
- Check if [Auto shut-off] in [Power & Energy] is activated.

Best 77” Oled!

Sony really stepped it up. And yes the A90j is brighter but you will want to either put the picture settings on cinema mode or better yet have the TV calibrated to truly get the best picture. The size is what sold me.
