The blacks are completely black and there is insane quality in shadows. Feel like I'm in the movie it's so realistic. Would highly recommend this tv. Incredible for gaming as well. The PS5 works like a dream on this TV. 10/10

Of course the OLED screen puts out one of the most beautiful, faithful picture imaginable. It's loaded with apps, but we use our Apple receiver to access apps because we think their processor may be even better than Sony.

OLED is great. But...

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I purchased a backlit LCD set about 4 years ago I didn't expect the color purity or contrast that I had from my previous (smaller) plasma set or even prior to that, my rear projection Hitachi Ultravision set. So since I wanted a larger set and having a limited budget I "settled" for the LCD set then. But fast forward, I am very pleased with this new and larger OLED set. I am getting the 4K performance expected from such a set but still not getting quite the contrast I desire. I just ordered a 4K calibration disc and hope to squeeze every bit of performance from this set.

Great bang for the buck

Android TV still doesnt cooperate sometimes with smart home assistants. Sometimes the TV requires a reboot. The app layout is a bit nested and really wish i could get to the apps without going thru 100 menus. The closed caption text is a little too bright when the rest of the picture is in a dark scene. Otherwise if you like good contrast and color saturation, you will like this TV.

Picture quality is just as amazing (they both look perfect), and I prefer the google interface over the LG smart interface. So even though I was completely satisfied with the picture quality of my LG OLED, I am glad I went with the Sony this time around to take advantage of the google interface.

It hangs up on our fireplace very nicely. We had a 65" samsung which that sat about 10 inches above mantle and was worried the bigger 77" would be to close to mantle but it actually sits higher because the screw holes for bracket is set lower on TV so very happy with that

The sound for a very thin flat screen TV this is fairly decent. (I bought a Sony sound bar in package with the TV.)
