All HD content is very good. $k video is great. The are some old SD contend that does scale well but the video is of poor quality. However, other old TV shows look really good. Watching basketball and football games almost puts one in the the stadium.

We immediately were able to notice from our last Sony tv (only 5 years old) and this Sony OLED. I also bought the subwoofer and sound bar to get the “full experience”. Purchase high quality HDMI cables if going this route. The only thing I regret about this tv is not going bigger.

One of the best at a great price

Even though the speakers are ok, I would still buy a sound bar for it. I bought the Visio four speaker set and this is a complete package now. My wife has taken over this set with the awesome picture quality this tv has.

Great Upgrade!

The difference in picture quality is astounding! Programs filmed in 4K are of much better quality, of course, but the regular programming is significantly better, also. The overall size of the two TV's is almost the same as our old TV had side speakers and a "frame" around the screen.

This one is terrific. I don't use the TV sound much as I have a Sonos ARC soundbar attached but sound fine the little I did use it. The new Google TV interface is nice, I stopped using my Amazon device on it as did not feel the need.

Superior color and brightness, truly satisfied with it. This TV works amazingly well in "Vivid" mode. The colors are a little off the correct colors in this mode, but it enhances the experience, especially for animations. Plenty of image processing, not everyone will like it though. But, you can always turn it off.

Great TV, but....

I think it falls short when displaying cable tv. I have a Samsung Q90R tv and cable on that is way better. I think movies are great. I don't care for Dolby Vision on some things which is weird. I can't explain it, but on some things it looks awesome and others I don't know why it doesn't look as good. I think the user interface (google tv) is clunky at times. Making picture adjustments feels very tedious. When playing games, you have to go back and forth switching between 4k 120fps and 4k dolby vision. Just seems like a lot of work to get it right for everything. My biggest thing is, and I kind of knew this with OLEDs in general, but reflections are horrible. I know Sony on its LCDs and Samsung has that anti-reflection technology, I don't know if something like that can be done on OLEDs. I am going to have to take it back though because I can't see the picture all that well during daylight hours unfortunately and I watch sports quite a bit which are usually on in the afternoon. This TV is just better as a cinema TV in a dark theater room or basement.

The sound quality can't compare. We dismantled our surround sound system because this accoustical glass is far superior. The picture is incredible. Couldn't wait to watch Avatar movie on it. I'm sure I went to the Tree of Souls in person with our new SONY Bravia. The Geek Squad installed it. No muss, no fuss.

We're truly happy that you are very amazed with its fantastic picture quality and ease of use. It's unfortunate to know the TV takes a while to turn on. To make sure your TV runs as smooth as possible, we highly recommend downloading and installing the latest software for the TV. If you unplug the TV from the wall outlet, the TV needs a couple of minutes to initialize after the TV power cord is plugged in. To avoid this, don't unplug the TV from the wall outlet. Use the power button on the TV and on the remote to turn off the TV.

His suggestion really helped us in choosing this. The tv quality is great. 4k videos look amazing and the sound quality is good as well. Definitely recommend this TV

For example, it has options to turn on the surround sound for other brands when you power on. The tv remote can be programmed to control the cable box and dvr such as TiVo. Picture quality is better than the LG C Series. Sound quality is superior to most flat screens due to the technology so sound bars are optional
