While my 77" Sony a80q is a very good TV it's a bit disappointing. The picture is clear and natural but not as vibrant as my other TV - a 65" Samsung Q80. I think the Samsung 75" Q90 would have been a better choice for me.

The picture quality may improve if you change it in [Picture] under [Settings].
Press the HOME button, and select [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Picture] — [Brightness], and adjust [Brightness] or [Contrast].

NOT A90J

But we wanted a A90J but that was only available in a 65 and then an 83 inch which was to big for the mounting area. We have a 55 inch in another smaller room and we love that one. We would of gone with a A90J if it was available.

Great TV, BUT...

The built in wifi turns off randomly, I would say at least once a week and it is extremely irritating. For $3,000, I would expect this to work seamlessly, and not have to hard reset it by unplugging it for a minute every time this happens. Although Bestbuy has been great. They are delivering the same item to me in 4 days, didn't realize I was Elite after buying the tv, so when I went in to look at speakers, the customer rep brought it to my attention and I barely made the cutoff date. Now this review is going sideways because I'm stating how great bestbuy is, and not the tv. I hope my new tv does not have any issues. Plus, I didn't spend this kind of money to just hardwire my tv, so no, I ain't doing that. I know I'm not the only person with this issue, because when you go to Sony's FAQ, they have all this in their troubleshooting section.
