Another area the Sony leaves the competition in the dust, but not talked about: Menu structure is very easy to navigate. I had another brand that I gave to my son in law. It always took you down the Netflix rabbit hole.

The color and brightness are great and the blacks are true black. Decent size TV, but if you have the money, I would go with their 83" version. This is a great first OLED TV though.

Because I wanted the most vibrant picture with the darkest blacks, I chose OLED and I'm NOT disappointed at all! Beautiful stunning picture and Sony delivers with well-built in sound. You'll want to look into a sound bar system to give you that true home theater experience. Sony went with the Google OS so it was super easy to reconnect all my favorite streaming services. OLED doesn't handle glare from lights or windows as well as QNED but I think the OLED is a better picture so do your research.

The 95 mini-led Sonys seemed to be a little brighter, but this oled is GREAT for my needs. Picture, sound, capability! I have owned many Sony televisions and a whole line of Sony products over many, many years. Sony BetaMax vcrs, headphones, receivers, speakers, VHS vcrs, turntable, Playstations, cameras. Only had ONE complaint where Sony was concerned, but the concern was not Sony’s fault. Sony customer service COMPLETELY went beyond the call! Customer service/assistance is second to none! Whole-heartedly recommend Sony!

Gets a green line across the bottom at times. Will go dark sometimes. Overall ok. Price is a bit high for these types of issues in my opinion.

The picture quality is amazing as is for an OLED, and in the dark it is a perfect home theatre experience. Even during bright days the TV doesn’t seem dull which was a big concern with OLED. We were especially surprised from the sound quality of the in built speakers. Our previous TV was paired with a soundbar but for this one the the built-in speakers were good enough.

Yes DLP... that always had an awesome picture. The contrast, colors, and brightness are mind blowing on this screen! It's been a couple of weeks, and I keep saying out loud how awesome this picture is, especially when viewing 4K. Pros: > 77" screen is awesome in our livingroom and sits about 18' from our couch > The screen is very bright - no worries for those wondering if they should get the QLED > Motion is processed very well by Sony's XR Bravia platform Cons: > Volume control does not respond instantaneously when increasing or decreasing volume. I suspect this is a firmware issue that Sony needs to correct

SONY OLED Delivers!

This SONY OLED finally fits the bill. Regular 1080P content looks as good as the Pioneer plasma and 4K HDR content really feels like watching in a movie theater on this 77 inches screen. I am glad that I opted for 77 rather than 65. Even though Sony uses LG panels, their processing produces better fidelity. And Google TV software is better than WebOS.
