    Picture soooi amazing. However the screen turns black for 2-3 seconds during watching a show.

    BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT: I bought a Sony TV because they had a sterling reputation for quality. Or so I thought. This is the second Sony 77-inch TV I've had. I bought the first one (an XR-77A80J) a couple of years ago. Recently I began experiencing total screen and audio blackouts lasting 3-5 seconds. Geek Squad determined the mother board (the "brain" of the smart TV) was bad. OK. Fine. A replacement was ordered and (about a week later) the replacement was installed. Nope! It didn't work. Well that happens. A second replacement was ordered and (about a week later) the second replacement was installed. Nope! Also defective! Soooooo, my Protection Plan kicked in and Best Buy totally replaced my Sony TV -- in about a week -- with a new current model (an XR-77A80L). YEA!! Nope. We're experiencing the same blackout problem -- again on a TV that is two years newer. I'm going to seriously consider a different brand of TV when/if Best Buy decides they can't fix it.

    We were so happy initially with the purchase of this 77” Sony OLED. However, after 2 weeks we are having challenges with black screen with audio or a split screen. It’s crazy that a new unit is functioning in this way after 2 weeks. We called the Greek Squad for but could not get an appointment until 5 days later. Argh!!!! We will need a new TV and not a tech endeavoring to repair my less then 30 day TV. Sony stand behind your products. It’s so disappointing to acquire this expensive product (brand) and it doesn’t work as advertised!!!! Crazy!!!!!!!!!

    I should return this TV when I could, this TV brightness is terrible. The quality of image good, but is very very dark is all picture mode, only vivid mode is bright but then the image quality changes,. I don't recommended it.
