Great TV, unsure about adding sound bar

I love the reliability of Sony products. I added the Sony 7.1 sound bar, rear speakers and 300W subwoofer. It's a very nice home theater system but the sound bar negates the unique audio features of this TV. You get one source or the other but not both. With this TV, it may be wiser to stay away from the sound bar or go with a much cheaper TV and add the sound bar.

Sony update ruined handshake with Sonos systems

The update caused the unit to disconnect our Sonos connection. Would not recognize Sonos system after ward. Sonos has contacted Sony to tell them it was Sony's problem. Even though everyone; BestBuy, Sonos, Techs, Sony Reviews, etc. has told Sony it's their fault, they won't admit the update issue. So don't buy this brand if you use Sonos. You will regret it. Exchanged for 83" LG, no problems

I was also able to download apps "Plex" from the google store and get it to work on the TV. It allowed me to get rid of both my Roku and Apple TV. The backlit remote really helps as well. Best Buy did the wall mounting install and it was a very smooth and pleasant experience.

Had an issue with the picture and decided to return and exchange it with this awesome TV. I never had any Sony TV before and it blew the LG out of the water with regards to picture quality. Out of the box, picture is outstanding! HDR is popping out of the screen. Hopefully I will never encounter any issue with this tv. Even though it's on the pricier side, money well spent!

However not all producers use 4k to create their content so some of them are clearer than others. Also it is necessary to update your streaming service and/or internet to get the true display. Also, having full tech support is amazing! Not only does it offer the warranty but they installed the tv, set it up and showed me how to navigate. Our installer were the best!

Very happy with the picture improvement vs. my 1080P 80" Sharp LED TV. I view in a room with lighting control brightness not a concern. However I had the drapes open and the picture still popped. I had to adjust the settings on my Netflix and AppleTV 4K to take full advantage but once I dialed everything in WOW! I don't use the TV sound so I really cannot comment on that.
