Great TV although sometimes disconnects from wifi. Good TV overall

Waste of Money - Dead after 14 months

Do not buy this TV. I was always a Samsung guy and decided to splurge the cash for a "higher end" Sony Bravia. 14 months into ownership the TV just turned off. Did everything Sony recommended to reset the TV and nothing worked. Paid for Geek Squad to come out and take a look. It was not any of the changeable parts in the TV but the screen its self failed. No replacement parts available. Called Sony and they were no help. Told me I was outside of warranty by 2 months. Not Best Buy's fault. Technology in the TV is no good. Most Samsung TV's I have last for years and years. The Sony Bravia was a waste of money. Stick with Samsung.

Very nice and easy to setup. Fairly big TV so be site to measure your space

When watching netflix show “Reciever” the tv can’t keep up with the football images when they are running. Noticed same with youtube. I bought this for football season, and am taking it back today. It was not a defective tv, went to store and they played same content on the display tv and same thing happened, images get very choppy. Noticed picture issues on other shows too. I bought the OLED 77 inch A80L and it is amazing!

Returned Sony Bravia tv and sound bar

We returned the Sony Bravia tv. The sound source kept switching back to tv speakers and not our Bravia sound bar. Tech support spent 45 minutes connecting to the sound bar. Two days later it would not connect again and used only the tv speakers. Again, support struggled with unplugging everything etc. I told him if the only way to get the sound system to connect was to unplug all devices and power I would return the tv. And we did. The Bravia sound bar had poor sound quality, especially for music. We return it and got Bose Ultra sound bar. Bose is fantastic. Now we have Samsung tv and Bose sound system and we are happy.

The tv seems dark to me and not as bright to my likings
Thank you for the review. We do apologize for the inconvenience. Power reset the TV, simply unplug the unit and wait 1-2 minutes then plug the device back in and power on. You may also adjust the picture settings which allow you to adjust a wide array of color, contrast, motion settings, and brightness changes that can improve the content you view on your TV.
