While there are others that you can save a few bucks on, why sacrifice the processing power of Sony for something that's "close". Streaming content in 4K HDR or Dolby Vision is just amazing.

Can't say enough about it. If you are considering it, just buy it. This replaced qa90 85 inch Samsung. Only lasted 3 years and had to be repaired 4 times. Thank goodness for Total Tech.

Happy but frustrated

I've been very happy with the quality of the picture and the vibrant colors it can create. However, I have also experienced numerous frustrations as the screen has been freezing up repeatedly on a daily basis to where the only way to reset it was to unplug the screen everytime. After attempting just about every possible troubleshooting option (soft restart, hard restart, software update, etc.), I finally performed a factory reset and just set the TV up to it's most basic levels of use. So far, that SEEMS to have greatly reduced the number of freezes (hopefully eliminated), but it is extremely frustrating to encounter issues like this on a television of this price as well as not being able to consistently use it to it's full potential.
