Need TV remote to power on

Only issue I've noticed is, upon power up, if you want the home page to be HDMI 1 (Cable TV) then you must use the TV remote. If you turn it on using the Comcast remote it goes to the default Sony home screen and there is no way to get to cable TV (HDMI 1) without also using the Sony TV remote. Perhaps someone out there knows of a work around ?
