HDR brightness, motion handling, and general clarity are solid for movies, sports, and gaming. Google TV is feature‑rich and responsive enough, and build quality feels premium. That said, the cross‑angle (off‑axis) viewing is not good—colors wash out and contrast drops noticeably when you move even a bit off center, which is tough in a wide living room. The interface is just okay: it works, but it can feel busy with extra recommendations and menus. Considering the price, Samsung’s comparable models look more promising to me in both feature set and wide‑angle viewing, which holds up better for group watching. Coming from an Oled, I have pretty high standards when it comes to picture quality, and this TV meets and exceeds all of them.
