If you read the reviews, you'll see it happens to countless people. Wish we had been more careful before purchasing. We were loyal to the brand, but sadly appears it's not what it used to be. We just had a salesperson confirm what we experienced and suggested Samsung to replace this TV. Hoping this prevents someone from making the same mistake or at least invest in an extended warranty.

It will not turn on. On-site service tech said it was a main board or power supply or both. Why spend well over 1/2 the replacement cost to repair? Very, very suprised at Sony. Won't buy again.
