Well had to put back in box and return. So sad but this tv was maybe rough handled some where. I'm gonna try a second time.

This TV went dead after 18 months.

Now it was OPEN BOX Certified**** but the left and right side of this giant screen looked smeary smudgy. I tried cleaning it (light amount of distilled water and microfiber only) smudge won't go away and screen looks like it already has damage to the anti-glare layer. Not sure how this passed certification. The screen looks great on thankfully but everytime I turn it off my ocd kicks in.

The built in sound is quite poor for a TV of this size and price range. I feel like I'm always having to fiddle with something to try to make it work right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear the issues that you've experiencing with your X95J TVs. We'd like to help and do the best possible for you. If you are seeing vertical banding on the screen, this TV achieves high picture quality and a wide viewing angle due to its optical design. This phenomenon occurs as a result, but it's not a malfunction. The image of the TV screen won't be affected. Due to the characteristics of the LCD panel and the design of the X95J model series, it's easy to see the phenomenon on a monochrome still-picture. When the TV is installed with the top tilted back, this phenomenon is also easier to see. If it is installed and placed normally, the degree to which this phenomenon is noticed may be reduced. Lowering the contrast setting in the user menu may also make it less noticeable.
