Im fixated on the 85" as its as close as i can get to projector.. mainly use PLEX for all .y content.. dont watch sports dont plan on using as pc nor gaming screen.. i went Sony for quity over value like Lg and Samsung GUI bores me.. this being said i paid 3500 which is top of budget.. keep or look at 75 77 oled?

Great until Sony bricked it

I was thrilled with color richness and clarity. 4K on this TV was amazing. Unfortunately, after having the TV for about 2 years, a software update was pushed out which bricked my TV. What frustrates me any more is the way Sony support treated me since my TV was out of warranty. They did ZERO for me. I didn't expect to get a new TV but maybe some sort of way to discount a new TV. They took zero responsibility even though they are the ones that pushed out the update that bricked my TV. Needless to say, I will never buy a Sony TV again and recommend you closely review the warranty. Also, do a search for bricked Sony TVs and you'll see a lot of people that had the same problem as me.

Got multiple sources going to it using Atmos. only problem I had was with delivery by BB -didn't get much in the way of a tutorial on the remote and navigating the screen options. Had it 3 months now and am pleased & waited for it and got it.

Awful ownership experience, DO NOT BUY

Within 2 months of buying my TV, the LAN port stopped working. A few months after that, the Wifi stopped working. Now, after owning it for 11 months, it won't turn on. I have never bought such an expensive TV before and I couldn't be more frustrated. My experience with Sony support has been equally frustrating. I will never buy another Sony product. So very disappointed!!!

Sony and Best Buy

Bought this for my parents, soon after i pay it off it goes out! All whute screen! Best Buy says shouldve bought the extended extra warranty and Sony says sorry about tour luck! $3000 and it didnt make it 3yrs!!!
