Although I bought a sound bar, before setting it up I played with the volume controls of the tv and it was really good sound. My tv is in a 2 story opened living room area and sound traveled great. I especially love the black contrast since the room is bright because of windows, the glare is minimal and the backlit display keeps the picture crisp. First time Sony buyer (always had Samsung) and I’m not disappointed. I also had Best Buy set up and mount the tv so that added cost was well worth it.

Very, very happy with this purchase. The audio is not so great. It is just a typical TV audio but of course with a TV like this you would obviously have a sound bar subwoofers and speakers behind you which I have and it is pretty incredible

It was a replacement for another 85 in Sony tv that the panel went bad I had the 5 yr geek squad warranty It cost less than the previous Sony so I was able to also buy my mum a 50 inch Roku tv & buy my grandson some video games It cost less but the quality didn’t lack at all

When you get it home, I don't think you are going to be able to tell the difference in it and the $4000. ones. Best Buy enhances all of their floor displays, so it isn't really what you are going to get with cable or streaming. For the price, the quality and features are fine.

The only problem I found was that the screws needed to remove to wall mount were in very tight. I almost stripped the heads on 2 of them trying to remove them. Luckily I have very good Phillips head screwdrivers so I got them out. Otherwise I love this TV.
