The Spectrum TV app is currently not available to download on the built-in Google Play Store of this TV. But you can use your mobile device to cast Spectrum TV content from your smartphone to this TV using the built-in Chromecast feature. Also, these TVs are equipped with HDMI connectivity which allows you to connect devices such as Spectrum receiver(cable box) directly to the TV.

The quality of the source is a big factor in getting an excellent picture quality. Having said that, picture mode settings provide preset adjustments for the type of picture you are viewing. Picture settings also allow a wide array of changes to color, contrast, clarity, and brightness that can improve the viewed content on your Google TV. The picture quality may improve if you change it in [Picture] under [Settings].

However, looking at the screen on an angle it really messes up the blacks. Straight on viewing is great for a Sony TV. I'm typically a Samsung TV person but this Sony is really nice
