It is a high end tv and with it comes the price. If you’re willing to look past the price everything else is worth it. I will say I think my only true complaint is that the user interface “Android” could be a bit more refine. However, it is not bad.

Awesome audio and video

Have seen 85" tv at many of friends', and though all of them had good video, the sound was always bad unless they put soundbars. However, this Sony just has awesome sound really out of the box, no sound bar needed. Just AWESOME!

Great TV but I think HDR is causing me issues

The only problem I'm having is the occasional burst of green "artifacts" on the screen. This was with HDR enabled from my AppleTV. Not sure if this is due to the cables I'm using or something else. I disabled HDR and I don't see it as much. Besides that I'm impressed.

We are sorry if you are encountering an issue when playing HDR content. This behavior has been brought to our attention, and we are looking into performance improvements in a firmware update.
In the meantime, please try the following to isolate the issue:
1. On the TV remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
2. Press Enter to open the Settings menu.
3. Select Display & Sound → Picture → Motion → , and then set CineMotion to Off.
- Make sure to use a Picture mode other than Vivid mode.
4. On the Apple TV, go to Video and Audio screen → Match Content → Match Frame Rate → set to ON
