4th TV in 2 years...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this TV in mid-2018, after a year a vertical and horizontal line died. We got a refurb replacement through Sony which died with a soli red vertical line. The new replacement we got died 10 month later with unexplained 4K problems on an HDMI port (which had been working fine for 10 months)... We're currently going through a month of back and forth with Sony support (thanks to corona virus, previously the support was reasonably responsive). This TV is underengineered and deeply flawed. It's great as long as it works, but don't expect that to be long. Also, the 4K Dolby Vision etc advanced features are DISABLED BY DEFAULT... WHO thinks like that... it states that on page 300 or so of the manual in a side note... You have to turn on 4K Enhanced features in the out-of-the way main settings (not input settings)... Total garbage front to end, save your money. Replaced it with an LG OLED TV that 2 years later is the same price as this used to be...
