This TV was good, especially with the blooming and bleeding issues. It was not as bad as the x850 or x950 models. The huge problem was the tv eARC compatibility with the YAMAHA aventage. The TV audio would not come out when switched to the external audio or receiver. It works great with the UHD player but once switched to the tv, no sound would come out even after switching options from auto to manual, or vice versa. Then the apps lagged and did not function properly especially on Disney+. The movies would not play or continue playing. Could be an update issue. But decided to upgrade and switch to the x950, then all apps, eARC issues are gone, but the blooming and bleeding issues were so bad, it's just not worth the money you spent on these TVs. I'm really disappointed with Sony TVs at this point. Tried all three, x850, x900, and x950.

This tv is so awesome! We are in love with it! I was thinking it would be a little too big at first but it turned out to fit our bare wall perfectly! The sound and the picture quality are amazing!

this big screen is perfect. i went from a 70 inch model to a 85 inch . this was just what I was looking for. the geek squad was very helpful and very professional.

I replaced My 5 year old Sony 75" with the new 85"! Picture is excellent and 4K looks sensational.! Sound is ok! Put a n ice 85" mount that pulls put 32" for really close look for Sports!!

Best picture quality i have seen from a tv yet. Sony does a great picture the sound and volume from the tv could be better. I use definitive technology speakers and a receiver for sound. Together its a truly amazing package.

Great Picture! This replaced the 75" and made my home theatre so awesome! Get the warranty! When my 75" had a problem, best buy refunded every penny and I paid the difference to upgrade to this one. VERY HAPPY!

Struggled to want to pay so much more than the equivalent LG. Except the equivalent LG is not equivalent. And that’s coming from someone who loves LG. But Sony does it best.

I finally upgraded from my Sharp 70 inch Quattro + to this amazing 85 inch Sony and all I can say is WOW. The picture quality is amazing and its options that is has makes the TV that much better

Very happy with this purchase. It’s bright enough for a room full of wall to wall/ ceiling to floor windows and the Seahawks games look amazing with no pixelization around the moving players on the field. Super bright, crisp, sharp image

I am amazed at the picture quality and don't even notice the smaller footprint of an 85 inch TV versus 90 inch projector. It's that good.

I was sold on OLED, but didn't want to sacrifice a big screen. I narrowed my search to the Sony 85" Class, X900F 4KHD TV with HDR. I've never regretted this purchase. Absolutely awesome picture, controls and overall design.

An amazing tv. the software interface is so fast compared to 2 years ago Sony android tv. huge size. looks amazing on the stand in my living room.

We have loved the TV so far. The only issue I have had is in the App handling within the OS. If too many apps are opened, performance slows. It is not always easy to close the apps. Also the lack of ability to fully customize the screen to represent apps you have installed is a pain but workable. Overall as a TV it is great.

Installed on wall in Family room and sat back and was amazed as to the colors and clarity of the picture. Looking forward to watching baseball on the screen.

This TV makes a serious statement. Had geek squad install and it’s hands down the clearest and biggest tv I’ve ever owned. Just pull the trigger already, you do in fact need this in your life.

Unbelievable picture quality! This tv replaced a Samsung 75" tv that got moved from the family room to the basement. I luv the Samsung, but I LOVE this Sony! Have it hanging on the wall and it looks amazing!

This set really makes for a great home theater! Sony always has great picture quality, but the 4K HDR format in an 85 inch giant screen is truly beautiful. I look forward to many years of great watching!

I would go with a OLED if you can afford it. This TV is nice. I paid $2,500. Wish I sprung for the OLED. I don’t completely regret buying this tv. Picture is very good. It’s just not great. I feel like it doesn’t handle blacks very well. Especially watching 1080p cable.

Picture is amazing and the 4K content is lifelike. Was very pleased to see how well this TV handles gaming! (Xbox) I am extremely satisfied with this TV and was the best bang for the price hands down!
