Audio is crap, but that can be said of all modern TVs. Only drawback I could find is that HDMI Arc can be a bit finicky. Otherwise this tv is great bang for your buck.

This was a replacement for last year's model after we broke the screen on the original. It doesn't hold up well to being hit by a flying Oculus controller but otherwise it is a great buy.

Nice TV.. but

Can appear a little dim at first but after configuring picture parameters like black levels, contrast, and more.. (for each mode, like dolby vision, hdr, std). It can be tuned to look very natural, but can also really pop in detail, hdr and more with some clever tricks in the settings. One thing of note though and still a possible deal breaker, is the color banding on alot of content, whether its youtube compression, or a hulu low quality feed, the skies can often look like lines of gradients rather than a smooth experience. Unfortunately they skipped gradation settings in this 85" model and it is using the old processor from previous models, not the new 2021 processors which include gradation smoothing.. which works quite well. All in all, great screen, excellent black level and uniformity on an 85" screen. But its unfortunate its basically a 2020 900h rebranded in the x9xj 2021 lineup yet doesnt include the flagship XR processor every single other tv in that lineup includes. The shadiness alone has me ready to package this up and return it simply on merit. So be warned. Nice TV.. some color banding issues that cant be resolved though.. and some questionable marketing of the product.
