The colors are brilliant, and it's been so much more enjoyable watching nature documentaries, Dodgers games, and movies in general. Sorry for the late accolades here but also wanted to thank Armando and his Geek Squad team for their delivery and set-up services. The staircase to the second floor of our house is narrow, but Armando and 3 other guys carefully navigated the tv up the steps without causing any damage to our house or tv. They also did a great job setting up the new tv stand to accommodate the large screen and patiently explained how to use the new controls. Kudos to them for their dedication and work ethic.

I watched 4K movie and it was an amazing experience. Only down side is Remote. In room without lights, it very hard identify keys.

Amazing until its delievered damaged

My husband and I bought this togther, it was a gift from me to him for an early xmas gift. We decided to get it delivered and have them put it together/place it on our mantle thing. After we got it up and running my husband noticed something wrong with the screen (im not exactly sure what he saw), he said do you not see the giant glare on the tv and at first i said no because i cant really see stuff like that. Once he turned the tv off i could definitely see it way more clearly, and its only gotten worse with time. My husband was tasked with calling help desk or whoever to get it warranty fixed and/or replaced, he kept putting it off.. mind you we bought this in 2021, he kept saying this year that he had til December… Which you know i didnt have any reason to doubt him since he knew exactly everything for his gift, I literally was just the money dropper in this scenario everything else was on him. Now i wake up today wanting to watch some tv while i do chore, and guess what tv doesnt work… shocker! Tv doesnt want to now connect to built in wifi or any wifi at all… so now we have a black screen wasting space in our place, and since my husband kept putting off calling the people to get it fixed i end up reaching out to get it fixed.. oh then this is where i was told our warranty expired in 2022… so now im frustrated because now we have a waste of space in our apartment, a big hole in our pockets, frustrated my husband kept putting it off after countless times telling/asking him when hes going to call to get it fixed, and frustrated that bestbuy cant do anything to correct the situation since it came damaged and is only getting more damaged because of it being already messed up…… so thats how my day went today, and what i think of this crap of a tv!!

One of the Best Values for a Large Screen

This may not be an OLED, but coming from the perspective of someone who had only owned budget TVs beforehand, the picture quality blew me away. The only issue I had with the TV is that there is there is an ad banner that claims purchase of the TV entitles the owner to Bravia Core, however there is no way to activate it. After contacting customer service, they informed me that this TV Model actually isn't eligible for that program.

When the tv works it has a great picture but randomly blacks out when you walk past it & has snowy screen and distorted sound when cutting on. Finally had to exchange it after many phone calls with total tech and customer service.hoping that the replacement tv will work out.

The tv pannel itself tho is fabulous even beating out some of the new tvs avalible today. I am Also a big fan of sony's out of the box color balancing.

And just as important, viewing at an angle is not bad, better than I expected! Sound from the TV speakers are good, certainly adequate if a sound bar or external system is not in the cards for now. Best of all, the processing engine does a great job of making both HD & standard content look great!! With 85" you need very good detail & this TV delivers! I also purchased the 65" A80J which I will review separately. These are both great TVs!

I was dreading the call to customer service and going through repacking and reloading this big tv. I was very suprised at how quickly best buy brought me a new tv and took the defective one. That was amazing customer service and i love my 85" Sony. So far im a vary happy customer with this purchase
