Great picture with 4K 120 refresh rate. IT’S HUGE. Run additional cables- Ethernet and HDMI before mounting. Once up you don’t want to take it down, it heavy.

Upgraded from a 65” to this 85” and wow blown away. Picture is crystal clear, the built in android TV is easy to use and I’m a Mac guy. Video games are brought to live, it’s nice to have a multimedia/movie theater experience right in my living room with the quality that only Sony can deliver. You will not be disappointed with this purchase

Sometimes the TV just cuts off and restarts for no apparent reason. The picture is fantastic.They’ve added Dolby vision Bright and Dolby Vision Dark settings which saves some time tweaking individual brightness and contrast features. Overall this is probably the finest TV I have ever owned. The motion clarity watching sports is amazing. Even in a normally lighted room I have to turn brightness setting down to about 2/3rds of max setting. I am really loving this TV.

The picture quality is better than the 65" LG 4k HDR set i have in my living room. The android TV is fantastic, easy to use and this TV works seamlessly with my Sony STRDN1080 home theatre receiver.

Bought TV on Friday afternoon and it arrived in perfect condition on Monday. Netflix 4k nature shows are absolutely stunning on this TV. As the TV is running Android TV OS, I was able to side load AT&T TV Now application so there is zero need for a Roku, Fire Cube, etc.

Was concerned about reflection/glare, but was pleased that reflection was not as bad as I thought. I was concerned prior to purchase, after I read some of the negative reviews. Viewing angle is somewhat limited, but you can see it from angles that aren't straight on. Images not as "deep" when viewing from an angle.

The best viewing distance depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend looking away from the TV now and then or try watching it from a different viewing angle. The recommended distance for watching a 4K TV is 1.5 times the TV's vertical screen size. The naked eye can't differentiate individual pixels when watching a 4K TV from this distance. Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were going to buy an Ultra Short Throw projector, 120" screen, and sound system, but the cost was astronomical, so we opted by buy this TV instead. The picture on this TV is amazing; the colors are vivid and the picture itself is really clear, giving a very immersive experience. Then only thing I've really noticed is the blacks in very dark scenes seem to have a soft 'ring' effect, but I'm sure if we messed with the settings we could probably correct this. We were using a soundbar, but we couldn't get the bar and the TV to sync and haven't been able to fix this, so we ended up disconnecting it. I don't know if it's the (cheap) soundbar or the TV, but the TV speakers put out some pretty good sound, so it's not something we're going to worry about right now. So far, I really like this TV and have no regrets buying it

We had a 103” screen and projector so this is actually a bit of a downgrade in size but it more than makes up for it with ease of use, speed of power-on and brightness. Don’t ever plan to go back to a projector. We don’t use the TV for its own sound…surround system for that.

I was able to get this TV under $2000. This is not the perfect TV but since I will be pairing this with a PS5 is either this TV or or a $3500 77in LG OLED. I used to have an Apple TV with my old TV but Android TV is really good in this TV plus if you watch Netflix this TV is pre-calibrated so you have the best settings to watch Netflix.

System works great! Amazing piece of tv with an incredible black.. you don’t have to adjust too much the calibrations are almost spot on. No noise , enough brightness and incredible quality of pictures... we hung it up to the wall and it’s beautiful. I highly recommend it.

It was annoying in the first week. Like you may know already the TV is very reflective. I struggled initially watching this TV with the ceiling canned lights ON. But after 2-3 weeks i am used to it and the reflection of the TV does not annoy me. This TV is heavy and Big. It is Perfect on a Large wall. The remote is very feather-light and it could be better and the fire tv connection we have Good : I love the picture clarity and the technology of this TV for the price i paid during the black Friday deal. It is so much better in value than the Samsung expensive Q80 and above series. initially but absolutely loved this TV with all the lights switched Off. This TV is great for Sports, Movies with Daylight scenes Watched Die Hard in 4k (with my lights switched off) and absolutely loved it !!! This TV has various picture settings like custom, cinema,vivid which lets you get used to your preference of the picture. It connects very well the eARC with Sonos Sound Bar out of the box to use the TV remote to control the sound. It has an amazing collection of apps from Sony's Home screen and the menu is very snappy. This was my first every Sony TV and i was apprehensive on the first 2-3 days of my buy as my eyes was getting used to 85" from my previous 55" Samsung and was wondering if i made the right choice. After 20 days i can say, i think i made the right choice to buy this TV and my wife loves it !!!

Blown Away at the Quality!

The entire experience is a delight. I’m sticking with Sony from now on since their ecosystem is one of the best ones I’ve used. The PS4 Pro was automatically configured. I purchased a Sony receiver since it works natively with the tv. The picture quality and color is superb at 4k. Even the Nintendo Switch looks amazing. I didn’t think I would care about android tv, but it’s honestly one of my favorite features. The remote control is blazing fast. Connecting Bluetooth headphones is a game changer. Amazing product and I’m now a Sony fanboy for life.

85 Inch of Awesomeness

Two choices of Dolby Vision (dark or bright) that you can adjust depending on the lighting in your room. My LG ultra short throw projector will not power on anymore, I sent it to LG for repair and after waiting for 6 months they just returned it back to me because they said parts are not available. Told LG that that’s the last LG product that will be in our home. This 85 inch size gives me the immersion like my projector but I don’t need to darken the room. Hooked it up with my Onkyo Receiver for 5.1.2 Dolby atoms is awesome. Sony Bravia TV is one of the device supported for Dolby Atmos by Netflix. I put it on a TV stand but make sure you buy support cables at the back that you mount to your wall for safety of your investment.
