    Did not have my mind set for a specific camera when I entered the store. The store associate was very helpful in explaining every camera and it’s features which helped me make my final decision

    There is no perfect camera. I'm glad with this purchase. I feel I can do more with this camera than the one I was using. I'm planning to get a telephoto lense to try out the camera.

    Just started using my camera and there's so much to learn- it could be a bit overwhelming. So far, I have an issue with my short lens: the focus is not that sharp.

    It's a excellent camera for daytime pictures. The mirrorless camera does away with all the sun light reflections.

    Sony discontinued the Imaging Edge Mobile app.

    Sony discontinued the Imaging Edge Mobile app that controls this A6100, so it is difficult to even download photos. You can still just use the flash drive in your computer. And Bluetooth will not pair, so location is not saved.

Although Sony has introduced the new Creator Cloud App to enhance content sharing experience, the Imaging Edge Mobile App is not being discontinued. A number of our cameras will still be able to use the Imaging Edge Mobile App such as this Sony A6100 camera currently. You will still be able to pair via Bluetooth for the location link and download photos via the Imaging Edge Mobile App if you wish or use a memory card reader to optimize your download speed.     Where's The Zoom?

    I purchased this camera recently. When using the 210 lens the subject does not zoom in close, it appears distant. I got better zoom from my average 18x point & shoot Canon camera, this is very disappointing. This camera is hard to work with, I read great reviews about auto focus and saw very good close up photos, I am not getting that result.

    The camera keeps displaying an error message and it is my replacement after the first one doing the same thing within a week of buying. Don't buy this camera.

    We returned his camera because of the poor quality pictures. My iPhone takes better quality pictures than this camera, I would not recommend this camera

    Not worth the price and bad picture quality

    This is the worst purchase I have made ever on a camera. Poor poor picture quality. Even after using the E55-210 mm lens the quality of picture when zoomed in doesn't give a great picture quality. Disappointed for the price it is. Not at all worth. There are much better cameras for lesser price and great picture quality.

    Maybe if you're on a budget and want a big sensor

    The vignetting of images from these kit lenses is unacceptable. This is a problem on both lenses. You won't tell if you don't look for it. However if you are taking a picture of a white refrigerator, wall or anything that should look white around the edges of the frame you'll see a lot of shadow. I recommend getting the body and a good lens separate.

    A Great Camera at an Affordable Price Point.

    I love the weight and size of this camera. I’m a hobbyist and I’m just getting started. The price point for the kit was super affordable. Sony should think of including a USB-C adapter in the package along with the charger.
