This camera shoots in 6k and down samples it to 4k, with the right lens and settings can produce really amazing photography. Navigating the camera settings can be overwhelming but nothing can't be leaned off YouTube these days and you will be up and running in now time. Build quality is nice for a mid year camera and nice textures and materials. Also as an APS-C is smaller in size and not too heavy for days use. Good battery life too, also did mention the super fast auto focus? Pros: Build quality Picture quality Features (4 year old camera) 4k30 Performance Good battery life Cons: No charging dock Micro USB not USB c No IBIS (make sure to use OSS for video)

I use it for travel and couldn't be happier with it. The autofocus is fast and accurate, the colors come out great, and on high speed it will shoot 11 frames a second. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone. The only real con I have with this camera is the battery life, but it's really easy to carry a spare so it hasn't been an issue for me.

I was originally going for the a7ii as a beginner who wants to pursue professional photography, but ended up going with the a6400 because I realized it has very similar qualities as the a7ii but for $1000 less. Even if you aren’t a beginner this camera really has everything you need and for SUCH A GOOD PRICE its sooo worth it! Yes its smaller but still feels nice and heavy and it looks cool. I paired it with the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 which I found to be the best fit for portrait photography and at a really good price of around $400. The image quality is outstanding! This body only cost me about $1,350 and honestly I couldn’t be happier! This camera is definitely staying with me for a long time :)

The image quality is outstanding, the autofocus is lightning fast, and the camera handles low-light situations like a pro. It’s compact, easy to carry, and perfect whether I’m shooting video or snapping photos of my dogs or beautiful beach sunsets. I’ve had several cameras over the years, but this one stands out for both performance and reliability. Definitely one of the best investments I’ve made—highly recommended!
