Do not buy from Best Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an open box camera that was sappose to be in EXCELLENT condition. For one it was by far not in excellent condition. There were fingerprints all over the sensor and the lense was dirty. However, what upsets me most is the excellent conditon details states that all original parts would be in the box. It didn't have the micro usb cable nor the ac adapter. So, I called Best Buy to ask if they could send me the missing parts because it was sappose to come with them; to which I was informed, after being transferred multiple times, that they would not send me replacment parts. The only options offered was to drive to the store (isn't an option for me) or to return camera for a refund. I asked if I could keep the camera and get a partial refund since it fits the requirements for good or fair condition and doesn't fit the criteria for the excellent standards so that I could use the money to buy the parts that are missing. To which they replied no. It's upsetting to buy something and not recieve as described.

The kit lens covers everything from Rocky Mountain national park excellently to portraits pretty well (add a Sigma 56mm for extra great pics)

I was originally going to give this only 4 stars but after finding a solution to the fast dying batteries (np fw50) in these series of cams, honestly I feel like you can't go wrong with the a6400 or a6500. I wanted to go with the a6500 but wasn't available at the time, so I just went for it and it did not disappoint. Just get one extra battery and a good quality high mAh PD battery bank, pair it with some good glass and you're good to go!

Amazing Camera for price range

The size and weight are a blessing for travel and hiking. Portraits, Landscape, Wildlife, and Macro have all turned out great. The camera doesn’t have a full sensor so you can call it the little engine that could. If you’re a blogger, you’ll love the flip up screen. Spend the extra money and get the 135mm lens option (Amazing Versatility as primary lens)
