I settled on the Sony Alpha brand thanks to the quality, the ease of use, and the weight compared to the other comparable brands. Initially I was going to go with the a6000, but after looking at the stock lens selection, it was a much better deal to get the 18-135 lens with the a6400 rather than having to purchase the additional lens down the road. This lens is really good for multipurpose use and the learning curve has not been too bad. I also love how light the whole camera is, even with the larger lens.

GREAT Starter Camera with a lot of benefits.

Very easy to use, I've been watching a lot of videos on YouTube to learn more about the capabilities. Excited to get more lenses to really see what it can do.

Awesome mirrorless camera

I wanted to use it primarily for a vlogging camera but end up using it to take amazing still photos. I am very impressed with the quality of pictures it takes. I purchased it with the kit lens but have since bot a few more lenses to round out my kit. The video footage is amazing, especially in 4K, but it can be shaky at times since there is no in body stabilization. If I need super smooth footage I use my gimbal. I am very impressed with this camera. I cant wait to someday buy a full framed mirrorless Sony camera.

However I wouldn’t recommend buying it here from Best Buy. They tend to over price camera gear all the time! The soul purpose of me purchasing the camera here was at time I really needed an upgrade for photography shoots and I didn’t want to wait over two weeks to receive my new camera. If I wasn’t overbooked with appointments I would have ordered it off another retailer, Any who this camera works great for me. 4K , megapixels for this camera is petty good for the A series.

I ended up selling it and he has talked no stop about getting another. Though I researched a few things about mirrorless vs dslr so I decided he'd be more interested in something like this. I was right! The camera is perfect! I don't think he has had any complaints yet. He definitely wants a new lense lol. Sorry Sony he is looking at the Sigma lenses. Get camera for beginners, intermediates, and professionals. The 18mm lense is a bit disappointing, but we can only upgrade from here.
