    So far the Sony has exceeded expectations. Coming from a Canon, the smaller size Sony is much easier to carry around.

    I have had a Sony alpha e mount camera for five years. Bought this as an upgrade because I could use all my existing e mount lenses, but this camera represented the first major upgrade to the Sony alpha 6000 line. This was recently confirmed by the announcement of two added models, 6100 & 6600, to the 6000 line with similar features to the 6400, The initial setup of the camera was complex because of the many advanced features of the camera that can be turned on or off.

    This is a phenomenonal camera for the proce with some limits, the 4k can shoot 30fps which is great for some but be aware that you need a dummy battery to maintain power consistently if you wanted to film with direct power. It can also overheat over time as a warning but if you usually film 1080 not 4k you will be fine, but is usually not a problem unless in direct sunlight. It is a crop censor but the video still looks great. If you're looking for a great all around camera with no video record limit, this is a great 4k dslr that can service almost everyone's needs.

Despite being a crop sensor camera, the 4K video capability at 30fps is remarkable, providing high-quality videos for various purposes. You are right to mention that the camera may give you an overheating warning when recording 4K in prolonged time. You can extend recording time by turning the Auto Power OFF Temp. function. Just go to MENU → Setup → Auto Power OFF Temp.] → High. We appreciate your positive remarks and acknowledging the limits you mentioned.
