This camera really exceeded my expectations I need a camera to travel with my kids. This camera really did me justice I am brand new to photography and I had so much fun taking pictures and the best part is so easy to use.

The best! Love this camera! It replaced in old Nikon DSLR and its lenses. The smaller size , improved functionality and greater image quality are the best!

Been shooting on this for over a month and have been very pleased with the camera. Pictures have been a great quality while the portability has been very appreciated. Even though this is my first time using a Sony camera the UI has felt very intuitive. In the end this has been a very good transition from the DSLR I used previously.

I was looking for something that would do video and take great photos, and would allow for external mic to be hooked up After lots of research, the a6400 is what I went with. I was not disappointed. This camera is exactly what I needed. The auto focus and face tracking are on point. I would recommend this camera for anyone who’s looking for something affordable and easy to use.

Very good camera !!! Grate quality with videos and photos

Long time Nikon user and decided to give Sony brand a try. So far, I like the image quality and simple/easy to use. I have kids participating in sports and I needed a camera that could keep up with them. This camera has done that so far and quality is great.

I picked the A6400 for my back country hiking. It's much smaller than an A7 (albeit w/o the total picture quality), however being smaller I was able to attach to my back pack easily for quick access and stupendous picture quality compared to any phone/smaller digital camera. Met my needs and then some. The 4K video holds contrast and was very sharp. Sum it up: Love it.

Purchased this camera to use for its ability to film in 4K and its compact size as well as its option for an external mic. We have been using this camera for short films and it has been wonderful. The lens included alone was worth the investment. With the addition of a Small Rig to attach the external mic on the side this has been the most complete “small package”.

This was an upgrade for me from the a6000. It is a lightweight camera with the ability to change lenses for different conditions. Very pleased with the ease of transferring photos from camera to phone.

This camera has the fastest auto focus system that I have experienced. It produces very sharp and excellent quality photos and videos. Although the menu may seem complicated at first, there are a multitude of options available to the user. The better you become familiarized with the available choices in the settings, the better the photo and video results.

I have been using this camera for a little bit over a month now, and I can say that I have ups and downs. I love this camera because it shoots in 4K up to 30fps and it is great for photography as well. I know people give Sony trouble about there menu setup and sometimes it is a bit confusing but once you learn it it becomes very easy to use. The battery life isn’t that great so if you record videos and take photos pick up two extra batteries and a charger. AF is great the video and picture quality are great combo with a great lens. I would recommend this to any new photographer or videographer.

For a beginner getting into photography (so take this for what that's worth), I really am so happy with the purchase of this camera! I am able to take quality pictures that allows me to really have fun and not worry too much more at this time for a beginner to get excited about learning more while still able to capture a great image. I can't speak to the video side yet since I haven't gone down that path with the camera... yet, but I could only imagine the quality that is there as well. Really glad I leaned this way for a first beginner/pro camera!

Absolutely love this camera! I am just starting off in photography and have had the Sony A6400 (my first camera) for about a month now. It is fairly light and the grip is fantastic to where I really only have to use three of my fingertips and it just stays put when carrying it down my side. The lens that comes with the camera is also very useful as well and has nice detail. I have not used a camera without OSS since this is my first camera but when i'm trying to stay still I notice my hands do tend to shake just a tiny bit and/or my breathing causes tiny shakes when taking video/pictures. I notice these things in real time BUT I don't actually see it happening in the pictures/videos due to the OSS kicking in and countering my movements which makes it easier to do without a tripod. The camera is a bit intimidating with so many features and menu options for the Sony camera but after watching many videos on YouTube I have learned to navigate this camera really nicely. Overall enjoying my experience with the a6400 and would recommend it to anyone starting off as a camera you can grow with.

This is my first nice camera and I’m absolutely amazed at the pictures and videos this thing takes. There is a lot for me to learn as I’m a definitely a beginner at photography, but so far I could not be happier with my results from this camera. I did a lot of research and decided the Sony was the best choice for me. Initially I was gonna go with the 6000 but after more research, I decided to go with the 6400 for the fact it’s more future proof with the 4K video. I would absolutely recommend this camera to anyone looking at getting a mirror less camera. Unfortunately because of the file limit size, I cannot load any images I’ve taking so far.

This camera is AMAZING! I’ve been researching for a good mirrorless camera for quite some time now. The Sony a6400 wasn’t what I wanted at first but I’m glad I end up with it. It’s user-friendly and great for beginners. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Great APSC camera! I love the size and the lens options are crazy good. The lens it comes with is great for hiking and you can chose from a variety of other faster and sharper options as your passion grows. Great camera and amazing system to buy into!
