Great for beginner

However there are several critical updates on A7iv causing A7iii not that competitive. Still will recommend beginner to start with this camera and then upgrade later

4k video and stunning photos

The auto settings are great and the menu is fairly easy to navigate. Sony just gives a lot flexibility and wrapping your head around the settings can be tricky. But, at least they are there! 4k video looks great and photos look stunning. Can't wait to improve with this camera!
