Took the leap

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great camera but there are so many more things I wanted that this just could not deliver. First, this camera has a poor heating solution and will decide it doesn't want to continue shooting just after an hour and 30 mins, and that's with the setting on high tolerance, and not even on a hot day so you'd be lucky to get just about a full hour... Then there's the lack of front facing display, poor i/o port placement and bay door design, and to top it all off the grip gets super uncomfortable. I recommend the a7c because it has fixed all, but if you want more customization, a7sIII is the better choice for higher heat threshold and overall longevity.
