I’ve been using this camera for a while now and I’m really impressed. The image quality is outstanding, especially in low light, and the autofocus is fast and reliable. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and perfect for both photos and video.

Does everything you need it to do and it does it well!

Well rounded camera that fits all the basic phototographers needs. compact in size but produces high quality photos and videos.

SONY - Alpha a7 III stepping up to the a7 has given me sharp photos as I had hoped.

I've been a Sony shooter for 3 years now. Coming from the a7rii, I was seriously contemplating whether I should upgrade to the Canon EOS R or just go for the a7iii. I made a great decision sticking with Sony. The A7iii feels right at home but also totally different from the A7rii. It's so fast and the shutter sound like pure butter.

Overall I love this camera. Coming from a Nikon D750

One must be ready for this advanced camera if one is to reap the capabilities it offers. There are great books written by professional photographers that describe every feature of this camera. And these books are great reference manuals that will help one enjoy this camara and take great pictures.

Was not impressed with colors I got from this camera. I bought the entire set of lenses for this camera. Returned all of it. I have been a professional photographer for over 10yrs now.

Love everything about this camera, but just had a shutter failure after only one year of shooting.

This is A7iii is my second Sony camera. My other Sony is A77II. As much as I have enjoyed that camera it isn't even in the same realm. The images this camera produces are beautiful. I find the camera to be very user friendly with the exception of the menu system. I watched several videos on how to use/set the menu up and although those few hours were a bit dry did help me become confident in using the DEEP menu structure. The A7iii ability to gather light is nothing less than spectacular. The auto focus is as close to instantiations as seems possible as well as very accurate. I have not shot any video with it yet, so I will leave those functions to others to comment on. The body is a bit small for my hands especially when paired with the 24-70 2.8 GM lens which is my only lens as this time. I felt the need to purchase a third party grip right away since I didn't feel very confidant in the grip I had with the enormous lens. The ability to set custom functions to several buttons makes many common tasks easy. I do miss the fully articulating screen of my other camera but I usually use the EVF anyway. The A7iii and A7Riii both have some firmware issues at the time of this review which have caused me to be unable to view pictures I have taken in camera. Yes that is frustrating but having read several articles I believe Sony will be releasing a Firmware update in the next week or two which will fix this bug. This is the sole reason I didn't give this camera a 5 star review. The lack of an included dedicated charger, while annoying was not a major issue for me since I knew about it before purchasing my camera so ordered a charger at the same time. The menu structure while very DEEP allows a lot of customization which I appreciate. This camera allows the user to create their own menu for the settings which one most frequently uses and that is brilliant! I was disappointed Sony did not include a PC sync port on this camera but the Sony wireless adapter has one on it, so not a major problem. The battery life is better than any camera I have ever had including several Cannons I had before switching to Sony. All in all I am very happy with this camera and encourage anyone on the fence to give this wonder a shot.

The camera arrived with signs of use, without cables to charge batteries, the box was a battered mess, apparently the use kept it for a long time since it had quite a few shots in the photography record.
