  • The SD card slot IS NOT BROKEN :)

    I still need to use this camera but wanted to write a quick review based on a review below. The SD card slot is not broken, when you pull the open slider instead of waiting for the door to spring up you have to SLIDE IT FORWARD and then it lifts up.

    If you’re like me, you’ve probably watched a few reviews before you got here. Now you’re probably reading a few more reviews before you spend your hard earned money. I personally made my purchase decision for the following reasons: Full-Frame Dual cards Good auto focus Good lens selection Fully articulating screen Good overall ecosystem with 3rd party support For these reasons, I chose the A74.

    Transitioning from Canon DSLR to Sony mirrorless has been smooth and rewarding. The quality, the ease of use... no regrets. The CF Express A memory card was more expensive than SD, but excellent performance.
